IF he wants to be a striker coach, potential, yes but might have his sights on other things.

Can only think of Billy McEwan who was a player, coach and then full-time manager. That didn't end well.
Ex players probably don't work as they have little to prove.
The best managers carry a hunger to prove themselves, independent of United.

We need a fitness coach so the professional footballers can last 95 minutes. Just like all the guys that play football at the weekend and have a full time job.
Bash and JOC would be my choice,not had any athletes in the team for a while.

Slight difference between professional athletes playing at twice the pace of amateurs and Sunday scuffers .it's not about lasting 95 minutes it's about the intensity that you can play ,most professional footballers could play at weekenders level for hours on end and not break sweat .

Quite possibly by Wilder himself as he will know his time will come and would want to try and go out the front door with as seamless a management transition as is possible.

Although he's injured(?), Ings can provide exceptional positional training for the young forwards. He might have lost his pace (like our Billy), but his understanding of the game up top & movement is first rate.

On AK he's been a great servant to SUFC but last year as difficult as it was it was stale so the back room staff do need a freshening up

I thought he was the best of the youngsters when he came through. Jags improved massively later on, and Tonge came through slightly after. I’m getting on a bit so might be hazy? haha

I'm pretty sure Monty started as a winger. I remember an away game against Norwich where I think he came on as a sub and terrorised their left back.

Still find it fascinating that in our Prem season all those years ago, he was our leader in assists. No wonder we found it hard that season if our chief creative outlet was Nick Montgomery.

He scored in the Worthington Cup in the ‘Triple Assault’ season! I believe the commentary in the video described it as ‘rifled one in’

Favourite ever player.

Would prefer it if he got some experience elsewhere first.

A lot of his best football was played under wilder or managers of a similar style to wilder.

We need fresh new ideas to supplement what is here already.

Is billy going to come in and bring new ideas or be a continuation of the culture that is already here?

Can be seen soemtimes at Woodburn road formerly the Pitz putting some young-uns through their paces though. So he’s obviously interested in that side of things and the drills look well organised and professional. Quite distracting when you’re trying to grind out a win on the next pitch.
