They have good players in their defence, however, they are woeful when it comes to defending set-pieces into the box (as can be seen by the Hull 2nd and 3rd)
Whether you put a lot of that down to the keepers inability to command his area is up for debate, but the defensive unit as a whole has to be questioned.

They conceded 1 against Blackburn last week and then a further 2 against Hull- surely you can see that they aren’t good when balls are flung into the box.

I'm not saying they are perfect. But other than the clown in goal, they seem pretty solid to me. Although the amount they are in front on shots against etc is also down to how dominant they often are in possession and territory
