Unfortunately, the second greatest team in the world, managed by THE best man in the world are creeping up on us all. Gentlemen (and ladies) I give you Coventry FC.Cannot bide Leeds and delighted too see the so called "greatest team the world has ever seen" all of a sudden be shown up as mere mortals. In fact doesn't this mean that technically you lads have accumulated more points than them this season?
Sunderland played mighty average again yesterday but are somehow still within 8 points of the "1970 Brazilians" so we will keep hoping. However we of course need 2 teams to slip up, not 1 and keep a run going til the end of the season.
The Hull City nightmare,Puts them under pressure again. But man, it's even more frustrating now that we couldn't at least get a draw against them. Could be top of the league now.
Coventry cant keep that run going - 9 wins out of 10 - and are surely due a dip in form. They have some really hard games coming up as well.Unfortunately, the second greatest team in the world, managed by THE best man in the world are creeping up on us all. 2 more wins than them, our 6 defeats, i think:Cannot bide Leeds and delighted too see the so called "greatest team the world has ever seen" all of a sudden be shown up as mere mortals. In fact doesn't this mean that technically you lads have accumulated more points than them this season?

Yep. When we lost to them less than 2 weeks ago, they were five points ahead and we had no hope of catching them. Only took 2 games to make up that 5 points. They've taken 1 point from 6 since we lost to them. Perhaps they're still celebrating winning the league on record points.
Meanwhile we've taken 6 points and Burnley are pushing us hard
It's far from over.Yep. When we lost to them less than 2 weeks ago, they were five points ahead and we had no hope of catching them. Only took 2 games to make up that 5 points.
If both us and Burnley win tues night, they're out of the top 2.
Me neither!Coventry cant keep that run going - 9 wins out of 10 - and are surely due a dip in form. They have some really hard games coming up as well.
however they are our bogey team so I wouldn't look forward to playing them in the play offs.
You've been massively consistent and thats been the frustrating thing as far as SAFC has been concerned - every time we have won - the top 3 has as well.2 more wins than them, our 6 defeats, i think:
2 v Leeds
1 v Burnley
1 v S'land
1 v Boro
1 v Hull
I could be wrong but I think all but Hull have been in the top 4 when we lost all of the other games, i think Boro were top 4 (possibly 5th or 6th) when we lost to them
Yeah the Hull game aside, the rest of our defeats have been against the sides at the top around us, but it doesn't seem to affect us when we lose those games...You've been massively consistent and thats been the frustrating thing as far as SAFC has been concerned - every time we have won - the top 3 has as well.
we lost to Hull at home and couldn't beat Plymouth at home. Two home wins there and we would be right in with the 3 of you. But its all ifs and buts.
They're not really a bogey team. They've only 2 in 15 at the Lane this century. Last time 2013.Coventry cant keep that run going - 9 wins out of 10 - and are surely due a dip in form. They have some really hard games coming up as well.

Sorry I was looking at it from a Sunderland perspective (I'm an SAFC fan). They're not really a bogey team. They've only 2 in 15 at the Lane this century. Last time 2013.
Oh I seeSorry I was looking at it from a Sunderland perspective (I'm an SAFC fan).
Not to mention the QPR at homeThe Hull City nightmare,
I know things happen to every team, but Hull City at home FFS!!!
We'd have a three point lead now if we'd even scraped a 1-0 win against them
Was reading their forum t'other day, they REALLY don't like BBD.Just been reading the Burnley forum. It’s genuinely a toss up which set of fans are the most insufferable..

The Hull game was probably a bridge to far at the time. The Hull City nightmare,

I forgot about Coventry, another banana skin, potentiallyLaugh while we can, but we have two Very tricky games coming up - and Burnley at their place!! It's not over yet, but after those games it may well be!
