Big Scary Leeds

We do that at pretty much every single away game, defend superbly, do very little else and a bit of quality generally gets us the win. The difference is leeds are a far far better team than almost everyone so they beat us.
We dont sit back as much as we did vs Leeds usually.

Fair enough but don't try to justify by quoting stats , just say because he played for us and he drinks with blades in pub
This is a stat, only one of them has managed to keep their team up in the PL following promotion.

I like ucandomagic's results tracker so I put one together for us and Leeds. Our fixtures so far have thrown up 9 comparators (same opposition, same venue). Away we have garnered 8 more points than Leeds; home we are 2 behind thanks to the mad last 10 minutes against QPR and Adam Davies' biscuit wrists.

As has been pointed out on this thread, Leeds' away form isn't the best with them only winning 3 of their 9 so far and of those 3 only the last-gasp 4-3 win at Swansea was against a top 10 side. That being said, we've also only beaten one top 10 side away from home (Blackburn).

It's a real shame we threw in the towel up at Leeds. A shithoused 1-0 win there and we'd have been very comfortable indeed.

My Leeds mate was telling me they have got more points now than this time last year and how brilliant they are, I said we've got 3 more points so can't be doing bad and he's a mardy ugly twat about it

Leeds will win this league by 10 points
I think Leeds will get top two but I wouldn't say by ten points because it's rare any team wins promotion by ten points and Leeds will have to sort out their away form if they want to be top two let alone champions. But I still think Leeds will be top two, they should be for the quality they have bought in like Dan James for £27m from Man which has to be one of the most expensive players to play at this level.

Of course we've had twenty million pound players,at this level like Brewster and Mcburnie but there's a difference in quality coming from Man U over Swansea! Brewster at £20m from Liverpool was massively overpriced and was based on his record at Swansea on loan.

Sky sports crying cos Leeds aren't the best team in the league...suck it up you mincers 🤣🤣 as for their goalie 🤣🤣🤣🤣
They're not though, on points and performances. They have a lot of the ball, but have no end product. They don't create easy chances and their set pieces are terrible. They might have some good players but how they're set up is bang average.

Win today and realistically without the 2 points deduction, we’ve outperformed them by 5 points. Loads of pundits including bookies sleeping on that.

Watched them today and thought they were very average against a poor Preston side, previously they had been quite good but keep losing to average sides,if we have our strongest squad we are not far behind them.January is crucial.

No it wasn't you I saw that it was someone else, i apologise, I think wilder is doing very well this season but so is farke and bear in mind Leeds sold well over £100 m since July last year and his record at this level is excellent, better than wilders
At this level, you’re probably right although Farke is only there because he stayed at Norwich to get them back up. However, I’d also argue given the resources available to each in their Championship seasons Wilder’s record is superior, and for this season in particular. He is also proven to be better in the league above, and below for that matter.
For Farke to have acquired 5 points less than us so far, given that squad and backing, must be seen as a significant failing that he has to rectify in the second half of the season.

That's true neither have really proved themselves as a premier League manager , but if I were a chairman owner I'd say it was more 50/50 than 100% wilder if I had to chose a manager to get m

You're missing my point entirely what I was trying to say is that there are other managers out there equally adept as wilder , and farke is one so to say it would be 100% wilder in a choice between them is to almost disregard the fact farke has 2 promotions as champions with Norwich and is dealing with a team squad that has sold over £100m of players in 12 months,

Then when they realised he was miles below the required level they bombed him out and Leeds bought him

same owd same owd with media and the leeds love in its obvious they all want leeds in the premier league not us
