Best match I think I attended was the Villa 4.1 or Millwall away 3.2 and must mention the injury time win over Norwich for the sheer elation of beating them. But overall I think it has to be between the 2.0 when down to 10 men against Brentford where the defending and sheer will and team spirit made me seriously believe we would do it or the 1.0 at Leeds for similar reasons. But of course last Saturday takes some beating too and will live long in the memory. So many good games, such a fantastic season.

Funny that, at the time, the 2-1 vs Norwich was a tight victory against what seemed to be a lower mid table side.

If the fixture had been in March, that would've been an absolutely huge victory.

The best match was probably the 4-1 vs Villa, the most important match was the Leeds game, honorable mentions to WBA away, or Forest at home.

Villa and Ipswich at home are hard to beat. Villa I couldn't believe what I was seeing, people were applauding passes like goals pretty much, the level of performance was outstanding.

Ipswich at home for the atmosphere, it was brilliant, seeing something truly special we'll all remember for the rest of our lives. Carnival atmosphere. We were also really good.

Honourable mention to Hull in the Carabao cup too, because even though we lost, Norwood made his first appearance and I could see that he was the missing piece. We were a different team after that day, I've never seen a player make a bigger or more immediate impact, Bill also scored a fantastic goal.

Leeds away, for many reasons. I loved the way Billy Sharp offered a masterclass to Leeds supposedly class centre-halves.

Bill ran them a merry dance from beginning to end, and the thought crossed my mind that although their CH's aren't as good as some think, they do seem to appeal to some misguided critics. With this in mind I thought Sharp displayed a level of nous and overall quality that might surprise some when next season begins.

That apart, we defended well that day, and Leeds possession amounted to little more than a team who flatter to deceive. The sheer joy when Bash steamrolled through and Sharp took control of unbelievably poor defending, laying off a beauty of a pass for Bash to score at exactly the right moment. The air was squeezed out of this particular game and they knew that their game was up. All that nonsense about their world class manager, how they were entitled to be promoted, yet once again we showed levels of grit and class that I hope will serve us well next season. A few weeks later Leeds had the opportunity to rubber stamp their promotion credentials, but come the Easter weekend and what was theirs to take and own became a train wreck of losses and little old Sheffield United were headed for the Premier League.

Seems dressing like Real Madrid isn't the same as playing like them........"There's only one team in Yorkshire, one team in Yorkshire, there's only one team in Yorkshire....."

Bolton away followed by Villa at home showed we were capable of playing the same sort of exciting attacking football we'd played the previous two seasons and gave me hope for this year.

Best game has to be Derby at home on Boxing Day. The tide really turned that day and I think a lot of us started to believe that we were going to be in running at the top end of the table.

Honourable mention: Brentford at home. The relief when Didsy scored our second was one of the highlights of the season.

much as I enjoyed Leeds away thought Leeds were nervous and Cooper had a nightmare, they succumbed to our stability

Aways are what make or break a promotion season so WBA was most memorable and the gutsy show against Norwich a close second.

Well sa

Well said, wba reminded me of the Oldham game under DB. Such a strong team performance with key players missing. They never recovered did they?

I cant choose, I've loved every minute of this season, and it's not over yet, let's get loud and proud 1 more time and spur the lads on, whether your going to stoke, in the pub, at the beam back, at home on the sofa, or sat hiding in the bog at work with your phone!, WE ARE BLADES MEN, SUPER BLADES MEN, and if the boys can do it on Sunday, and Villa can do us a huge favour, then we could be CHAMPIONS!, and no other group of lads deserve it more!!!
I LOVE UNITED, I ALWAYS HAVE AND ALWAYS WILL, and with Chris and Alan steering the ship, and hopefully, with the owners backing, whoever that may be, come the new season, this could be the start of something even more amazing than the last 3 years!!!!
COYRAWW, COME THRILL ME AGAIN!!!!!

The first 45mins against Villa. As good a period of football as i've ever seen the Blades play at home. It was thrilling and jaw dropping in equal measure, agaisnt good opposition. Everything we did came off and everything we did was done in the right manner, in the right places and at the right speed. Beautiful.

My previous favourites were Borbokis' debut game v Sunderland and when we played Liverpool in the League Cup under Warnock.
