He has the ability/capability to do that. Everyone knows this. To say he isn't a good player is just stupid and incorrect. His consistency is very questionable. His talent isn't.

What's the point of talent if you don't put in 100% effort? I'm confused where he's shown he's a £20 million player ever in his career for us. He's had a few good spells in games when he's looked excellent, but that's it. For ever powerful run forward he's also completely neglected to track a man or try and win an important header or tackle. People look at his stats but ignore his complete lack of defensive play.

Depends what you mean as a £20m player. There are some absolutely shocking £20m players and some brilliant £5m players around.

He has the ability to look excellent. He also can look and be poor. But he's a good player.

He was dreadful today. One of the most frustrating performances that a player of ours has turned in this season. If he’s still not fit then I’d like to know why he’s playing so many minutes. If he is fit then I’d like to know why he’s showing so little commitment to getting results for the team. We carried him today.

First half be was anonymous and disinterested, but his off the ball work wasn't so bad. His pressing of their left back ended with a few throw ins to us, but overall 3/10

Second half was a lot better but he's still nowhere near the levels we've seen from him.

There's a reason opposition fans mention him as one of our best players and also one of the best in the division as when he's on it mentally and physically, he's outstanding. Watching him last season with Ndiaye and MGW was pure joy but he's been a shadow of that player.

I'm a big Berge fan but he needs to play in an attacking role and he simply must do better between now and the end of the season
