Understand. Which is why I said "if" and "in any other job". However, if he wants to stay but is being told that he won't be allowed to do what he is contracted to do (i.e. play football) then he is most definitely being bullied.
He’s contracted to play football, yes…but he’s not always guaranteed first team football. That’s not how it works. Our manager picks what he deems to be the best team for SUFC and lots of factors will influence those decisions, including best XI, individual fitness, form, team spirit, etc. Nobody is always guaranteed a place in the starting XI. Nobody’s being bullied, Sander’s definitely looking after himself and we’re doing the only thing we can…what’s best for the club.

Not sure on the fees but 3 years of Sander with a play-off final and promotion is fine by me for 7m, even more so if we can now buy Doyle/Hamer with the money returned.
I must have missed that play off final part

Yeah but Punch and Judy are calling him a 🐍
I didn't like that to be honest either. I am disappointed if he prefers a move there over staying with us but then you've got rumours that he was forced out, it's just impossible to know the real truth. I certainly wouldn't call him a snake.

Yes, the manager does. Not the Board. Pretty sure Hecky didn't tell Berge he's not going to play him.

We started pre season with three premier league quality players,a few days before the season starts and we have now got one,it was always going to be a battle to stay up,now it will be absolutely impossible.
I get your feelings, I really do, but no point placing bets until you've seen all the runners. Admittedly it isn't an ideal start to the season, whoever we now bring in.

Darren Smith is an absolute gob shite. I get PA stance on the SUW Podcast when speaking about about local media, but this guy is just pure propaganda at this point.

Does anyone know the cut off point for signing and registering players so they could play in the next game for their new club. I always thought it was 1 or 2 days prior to the match.

Probably a good job he lives abroad and, I assume rarely comes to our games.

The amount of people who seem to have had enough of him, you wouldn't put it past some after a drink or two giving him what for.

Prince's pals trying to put the blame on Berge saying 'see he wasn't forced out, he wanted to leave! 🤷‍♂️' is very funny considering why Berge probably wanted to go

Well if that's true its a reight lick in the bollocks to our coach/manager PH

I always thought it was lunchtime Friday for Saturday games

Yeah, that's why I always thought that it was the day before the game, given that it's a different time for midweek games and Friday night games.

I feel awful for PH, we are making his life harder. I wouldn't be surprised if he did a Lopetegui, rather than stick with us & damage his career prospects.

Almost everyone is having a better summer, making the right additions. I mean, Luton's midfield is now Nakamba & Barkley, which isn't bad.
He isnt going to walk away before the middle of his 5 year contract.

We are a total laughing stock
We certainly are!
Difficulties getting players in? Why aren't our rivals affected by these difficulties?
It's the bit about having to alter our style of play to suit the players we can get which worries me!
We've just been promoted to the top league in the world with a £100m windfall.
We've just raked in £30m or so from selling our two best players - one of which was to a direct rival.
Yet we can't afford 2 x midfielders and 1 x striker from the Championship?
Something fishy going on here.
How long before the old "we tried but....." line gets wheeled out?
Then, "there'll be money available for the JTW if we're in a good position".

Midday on the last working day before the match, according to Sky Sports earlier

Just got to hope that we sign three good credible players and two potentially exciting loans to stem the discontent.

Anything less than that, especially notably less, and I don't want to imagine the atmosphere around the place.

Look at that list, it’s ridiculous to suggest that we’re the only club that’s had difficulties with recruitment.

West Ham have sold a player for £100m ffs and only signed a 17 year from Clftonville!
