When I saw the medical video put out when he joined , I knew he was no good for us. He did the side jump test when he has the resistance band round his waist. It nearly catapulted him across the gym. Far too light weight.

Yes we had no money but did not stop us buying 3 or 4 players who were crap . 2 mill here 5 mill there 3 mill here and non any good .

You still need to have good strength even in the Championship. Enough teams in this league can bully you off the park.

I appreciate the sentiment, but there’s plenty of lightweight players who don’t get bullied in this league, or the league below.

Bannan on the dark side springs to mind. He’s decent at this level and about four feet tall.

Agreed. The players who were liabilities last season might not be so bad at champ level. Doesn’t solve the issue should we go back
