Much has been said about how shit our away form has been - but a closer look is quite instructive. The colours in the picture below highlight something interesting.
Against the top 6 we are OK:- played 5 - won 1, drawn 3, lost 1.
Against the bottom 10 we are fine:- played 10 - won 6, drawn 3, lost 1.
Against the middle 8 we are a disaster:- played 7 - won 0, drawn 1, lost 6!
This level of difference can't be a total coincidence.
Do we keep it tight against the top teams that we fear;
Usually overrun teams that we are much better than, who don't sit back against us when we are at their place;
Think we have too much chance against teams around us and leave ourselves exposed.
Interested in any other thoughts.
