It's pretty much impossible to judge him this season. The two games where we weren't pressed and we could pass the ball to him (Donny, Brum) he was mom. The two games where we were pressed and the defenders and keeper continually hoofed the ball over his head (West Brom, Swansea) he was pretty much anonymous. That said he has been poor out of possession, as has Norwood a player who simply can't cover the ground anymore and will never regain the physicality needed to do so. This team is as weak as piss out of possession and barely wins a second ball or tackle. It is also far too small for this league. Our set pieces are also shitola.

The biggest issue we have is transferring the ball from the defenders to the midfielders. It's been the biggest issue all season. Every football fan wants to play five strikers; they matter nought if you cannot kick the ball to your midfield players.

You are right 100% correct, however football is also a physical game, a game that can turn or be affected by not just a goal but a tackle, WBA strolled through our midfield, there are 2 tackles that stick out last night, Freeman on his backside still managed in part with a bit of luck to beat 2 players, late on Norwood did a sliding tackle when he looked to leave a bit of follow through on their player
Football is about attitude, we don't have any leaders on the pitch, Freeman & Osborn have more will and fight than Berge does, Freeman & Osborn have the ability to drag Fleck and Norwood with them, with Berge everything is pedestrian

The only players I saw that gave a fuck were Freeman, Basham and Norwood. Hard to judge Sharpy as he was given an impossible job of winning balls off giants heads. Sadly for Norwood he's done as he can't cover the ground anymore.

It's a hard one to judge as there's ways of hiding on a pitch that aren't always easy to spot. For me Berge, Osborn, Didzy, Fleck, Mcburnie etc never made a tackle and hid. Even Baldock in the second half. Some of them made a show of running around to make it look like they were competing, but they were hiding and all lost their individual battles.

Slav is on record of praising the back 3 and previous system, the next step is very tricky, he either sticks to, and imposes his style, or he reverts back, if it doesn't work he can then call them out, look we tried it your way, you screwed up, now it's my way

But their legends of today are much better, indicating that players attitudes, fitness, science, training methods have produced much better modern players than their old style counterparts.

Probably with the lass on top, so he doesn't have to do the running, can occasionally lose concentration, let someone else spend time on the ball, not even have to strain to get in the box and watch while they finish

We are soft as shit, physically and mentally. The footballing equivalent of a doormat. We don't have a shitehouse in the team. Currie could split a defence in half with a forty yard pass right on the end of Woddies toe with out him changing step. TC, Worthington, Hudson, Bowler etc could walk into any top PL side, only difference between then and De Bruyne and today's current superstars, is TC and the gang weren't performing on a manicured desso pitch and weren't wearing custom hand made boots, made from computer 3d scans of their feet.
