Just go and flog it too a bloke in the queue. Saves both you and him waiting.
That's a good shout

The trouble is, she only met the father when she joined the queue.
She was born in the queue herself.
Ordered Coventry online but not picked it up yet due to the stupid queues. Someone else asked the same question, but any idea if it will be mayhem tomorrow trying to pick it up pre: match ? It's probably the impossible question though ......
Genuine question, without apportioning any kind of blame or criticism...
But those going down in person today to get Coventry tickets, why have you waited until the day before the game when they've been on sale since late Feb?
Seen loads of people moaning on Social Media and whilst I'm a massive proponent of making it as easy as possible for people to purchase, whenever they want, I can't help but feel that some of the criticism is somewhat unfair, when leaving things to the last minute.

The staff were walking the queue asking if anyone was there just to collect pre ordered tickets and telling them to go to reception to collect without waiting.
You can pick up pre ordered tickets up from reception. I went down this afternoon and this is what the ticket office was telling people to do. One guy in front of me waited two hours got to the front of que and was told to pick up from reception desk, saw a few walking straight in and picking upOrdered Coventry online but not picked it up yet due to the stupid queues. No excuses. I'll be honest and say that I just pick my matches, usually 8-10 home games per season. I don't think we're any different to the majority of clubs up and down the land in that crowds will show a sharp increase when the good times arrive and drop away in lean times.
For any business there are challenges in scaling up to meet a sudden rise in demand and it will be a shame if people don't get to attend tomorrow due to ticketing issues.
I really do want to go tomorrow, but work/childcare commitments have meant I've stopped by yesterday and today around 3pm, but been unable to stay and queue. One more try tomorrow and fingers crossed.
Oh for the days when you could just queue at the turnstile.

Yeah all together it doesn't help, I think the MK Dons tickets dropping form 35k to 30k loyalty points must have been one of the main reasons for the increase, I ordered my away tickets online this time, glad I did with the look of the queues.I went in my lunch hour Sunday and got back to work 2 hours later. Had to work the time back, so no huge drama, but definitely an area for the club to look at this summer.
Kelly Brook, ST and the rush for various remaining fixtures creating the perfect storm..and that was before today's system crash.
Don't even start me on the car parking since we got good UTB
Tea and coffee in the queue.... I bet no club in the premier league does that, nice to know we have a proper club

I keep seeing people say the ticket office will have to revise their strategies etc etc.I went in my lunch hour Sunday and got back to work 2 hours later. Had to work the time back, so no huge drama, but definitely an area for the club to look at this summer.

I'm planning on heading down there for about 4pm to get a ticket for tonight.
I'm going to actually get a ticket before K.O, aren't i?
I went down yesterday, waited 20 minutes then came back, queue was moving very slowly.
Anyhow I ordered a new season ticket last night online for the Kop (my first since the PL season) but I wasn't able to buy 2 new kids season tickets.
So I'll be back down to the ticket office when the queues have died down a bit.
I keep seeing people say the ticket office will have to revise their strategies etc etc.
However, to be fair this week is pretty unprecedented in recent times and how regularly will it be repeated in the future?
World title boxing match, 3 home games at which we could be promoted or win a title, a beam back of game where we could get promoted, and an away game with a minimum of 7.5k tickets available (demand will exceed supply). All this within the same period. Oh, and season ticket renewals in which the prices have froze.
The only thing the club could potentially do better is absolutely hammer home the online facility and its advantages/capabilities.
I have heard a few complaints about this and it is something the club could look at. An existing season ticket holder should be able to buy season tickets for adults or kids who haven't been before and be able to book them on-line ( and move seats if possible to where they are no season ticket holders)Anyhow I ordered a new season ticket last night online for the Kop (my first since the PL season) but I wasn't able to buy 2 new kids season tickets.

There's little excuse to not buy online where possible.
Buy online and get from collection booth later
