Any chance we can send Cofie back??

He's a Billy big bollox who aint ever going to make it at premier league level. Clearly not good enough. Get him gone and free up another loan space.

If you made him walk then you would miss out on the pleasure of throwing him at S'Ralex.

He's fuckin useless. Does he know the meaning of positional play??
One of the most incompetent players i've seen.

I think I heard on P & G that we can't send him back until he's been with us 6 months :(

thing that annoys me is his kit was bloody pristine when he went off
thought ironside did ok .. won a couple of headers.. he's a big dude isn't he??

I was urging him to pat down some loose grass when he went off. It wasno pleasure witnessing a player contribute actually zero for 70 odd minutes. I think today was a case where we reallly would have been better off with 10 men.

Quite simply, rubbish.

UTB

They need help at the back of the Kop serving pints at half time. Give him the job for the next three months.

Clearly not benefitting us. I'd rather have seen Philliskirk given a chance.

Philli isn't quick enough to play the role Wilson would have liked Cofie to today. Though he might as well have :)

Yes he stayed clear of the nasty wet turf our john, he likes to keep clean, he likes to be quick to the night club, in good clean clothes, after every game.

That sitter he missed, second before Flynn's offside and a minute or so before their second was unreal. How many touches did he want?

Sadly, everything about his body language says "Im a Man U plSyer and have no need to get involved in this.I will be back home soon and this will be just a memory"

I don't think Danny was after pace today, if he was that wasn't how he used Cofie. We needed someone like Miller, not so much about pace but a finisher... A peschisolido type player if you will

exactly what i said yesterday. i hate cofie, its amazing how people have a bit of faith in him cos he's a superstar man u player. he isn't even close to league two standard. total waste of time playing him.

I think he must have changed at half time then, as I saw him fall down in the first half and looked so disgusted because he'd got a bit muddy!

Both Miller and Peschi also have a natural ability of a pace in thought... or doing the right thing without thinking about it.

Philli has turned a little ponderous for me and often loses that vital edge whilst thinking about what he's going to do with the ball.

That, combined with the lack of a stand out feature from our other strikers is why he's down the pecking order.

he strikes me as terrified of getting injured

He looked like he was terrified of his own shadow, and considering that when the floodlights are on he'd have about 25 shadows there was no wonder he looked like he was always on the verge of either soiling himself or just crying.

Cofie is rubbish. There's a simple reason why Man Utd have let him go on loan for a season - he's shite. The sooner we get rid and let our own youngsters have a go the better.

If I remember correctly Cofie played against our academy in the youth cup final, if it was him he looked decent.

But the problem seems to be on several fronts. Not transitioning to senior football, his style and ours, not getting a decent run in the team and most of all his inability to work for the team.

Talent is one thing, but getting stuck in and earning your shirt is another. Miller has shown that he can work for the team, not just himself. That's why he kept getting picked. Flynn has realised that he has to get mud on his knees, get into a tackle and standing on his feet instead of always going down also gets results. Perhaps Cofie could have a look at how Flynn has worked in recent weeks to improve.

Cofie had a big chance to shine today, sadly he's missed it and needs to either knuckle down or go back to Man U.

we arent babysitters, wiping his bottom and trying to send him out in the world. he's not good enough, send him back and let his actual club try to turn him into a player. whilst he's here he gives the illusion that we have a load of strikers. in reality theyre nearly all too inexperienced/too crap/too old/too slow. miller being out has suddenly exposed yet another weakness in the squad.

I'll hold my hands up as one of those happy with his selection today. Had a thought that with Miller's absence (what a chuffin disappointment that is, for him and us), it was time for Cofie to seize his chance , and prove his worth. Unfortunately, from back to front, we were awful. That said Cofie showed nothing to suggest he's worth a place above Ironside, Philliskirk or any of our other own youngsters, sadly. I wish him well, but would sooner him gain his experience elsewhere.

Cofie doesn't seem interested, his body language is all wrong and he doesn't possess a football brain.

On a brighter note it like Jamie Murphy from Motherwell is on the move in the next 4-5 days, lets just hope its us he's coming to. Stories circulating that Chappel and McFadzean might join Motherwell on loan as part of the deal.

Never rated Cofie in his games for us, but it's daft to say he's plain shite. You simply don't play for Man United youth unless you're exceptional for your age. Trouble is, he's shown no sign of stepping up to play with the grown ups.

He clearly has skill on the ball but he shows no capacity to play in a team. No positional sense. No sense of when to pass. No sense of selflessness. No work rate.

Basically, unless he lamps one in from 30 yards every other game, he'll contribute little.
