Any chance we can send Cofie back??

This is an apology I was one of the few who wanted his return to to the starting line up.

How wrong can you be!

This was was his chance he blew it and the sad part about it he didn't give a fuck!

When he's stacking shelves in Tesco he'll look back in these times

He's a Billy big bollox who aint ever going to make it at premier league level. Clearly not good enough. Get him gone and free up another loan space.

He reminds me of Balotelli the way he swaggers about, only with 1/10 the skill. (yes I know he's a nob!)

He looked like he was terrified of his own shadow, and considering that when the floodlights are on he'd have about 25 shadows there was no wonder he looked like he was always on the verge of either soiling himself or just crying.

I've been chuckling intermittently all night about that comment our lass thinks I've lost it she puts it down to yesterdays result

I have never seen such an arrogant bone idle twat as Cofie, he might have ability but if he isn't prepared to roll his sleeves up and fight for his team mates, he's never going to make it.
I can't believe how he swaggers about and yet contributes jack shit every time he gets an opportunity to play. No other player infuriates me like him, I hope he never plays another minute, cos its only a matter of time before I'll run on the pitch and give him a 'damn good shake!'

I like Cofie he's ok and the goals he has scored are amazingly infrequent

Fixed that for ya, young'un.
with all the stikers it is quite hard to get in the team

It wouldn't surprise me if McAllister came back into the team for Donny and Blackman went up top with Kitson. I'd be disappointed as Blackman for me is our stand out player who looks dangerous going forward from midfield. Oh, and coupled with the fact that McAllister is toss.

Cofie has started 17 times and had 8 substitute appearances. From that he's managed a grand total of just 2 goals. For a striker that's what's known as "nowhere near enough".
Especially one that has come from Manchester Uniteds academy

Cofie is just not good enough - but then again neither is Cresswell or Porter - Give the kids a chance - can't be any worse than those three!

Too much dead wood still left in the squad

Both porter and cresswell can do a job as second striker. Trouble is we don't have a main striker at the moment. Word is Murphy will be signed very soon but he can't play tomorrow whatever

I had no idea he'd started that many times. I know he got a good run at the start of the season but in my head he's played 10-12 times tops. Illustrates how anonymous he is.

Terrible news boys just read in the Star Cofie says he's desperate to be a part of the promotion push.

I like this quote...

Despite failing to command a regular starting role since joining United last summer, Cofie said: “I’m really happy here and I’m completely focused on trying to get this club up. Whatever Sheffield United achieve this term, I want to achieve it as well. My thoughts haven’t changed one bit from when I first came in".

He's 19, must have summat or he wouldn't be at Man U. Time for somebody at the club to spell out what 3rd Division football is all about and then ask him if he's prepared to get scruffy, dig in and accept that this is a world away from academy football at the likes of Man U.

Liverpool planning shock Man Utd raid for superkid Cofie

Submitted by tribalfootball.com on Mon, 03/15/2010 - 03:11

Liverpool are planning a shock raid on Manchester United for teenage sensation John Cofie.
The People says Cofie, 17, born in Ghana, joined United from Burnley two years ago and is rated one of Sir Alex Ferguson's best emerging strikers - he is already in the reserve team picture.
But the Kop was his preferred destination before he left Burnley and he may be tempted to quit Old Trafford for Anfield, where he could be fast-tracked into the first team as the club are desperate to land top young talent to build a new team.

He went on a 50 yard run v Hartlepool, coasting past several opposition players. He had a man free on the right who I assume was Flynn and refused to pass it. He then ran straight into a player and fell over. He may go somewhere in the future, but he's totally ineffective at the moment.

Yeah if he could let us know when he is turning up for this promotion push we would like to know.

I'd replace Cofie...with 100 teabags.

Surely, someone in our set up can call up Sir Alex and tell him the truth that he's nowhere near good enough to make it.
