Fiery's still alive, isn't he?
UTB
Most on here have recognised those players as not quite giving the quality we need at the moment. I again would like to hope they come good.
To not recognise where the club is in terms of resources shows such naivety.
Totally recognise where we are with resources Boo - just can't understand why we are contemplating spending more resource on Williams (permanent) when he clearly can't cut it at Reading and we are building for next season - can't see the point signing players who are just not good enough eg Porter, Williams etc
LJF can do a job Taylor has demonstrated time after time he is not good enough for the championship yet some on here seem to think he's the answer!
In closing, yes we are doing well, don't waste whatever limited resource we have,- it will be hard to get a top two finish but I will be behind them Up the Blades!
I can't for the life of me understand why we're not targeting Premiers players with Champions League experience.
He went to Reading on a free. He may not command a fee because Reading may want rid. He signed a 3 year deal with them. Reading may pay part of his wage if it is too high for us. I have faith in DW to get the best out of players and make better players out of mediocre ones. He has demonstrated that already this season with several players. Where as you look to the here and now and see nothing beyond, I see potential, although it may be limited?
Boo, wer'e playing in the Third Division - thats why the players look a bit better than last year!
Our opponents this year number amongst them Bury, Brentford, Carlisle, Rochdale, Oldham, Yeovil, Chesterfield, Stevenage, Wycombe etc etc
Last year we were playing the likes of Norwich, QPR, Swansea, Cardiff, Leeds, Forest, Leicester, Ipswich, etc etc
They were better teams that's why the likes of Collins, Quinn, Doyle etc look better players against current opposition - nothing to do with Wilson
Yes Boo, Very Limited
Aha. So you've finally realised were we are!
Now complete the reality check and realise the limitations that the club has at this moment.
The difference between you and me is that I have faith and support our manager.
I have always had the faith (sometimes blind faith) that things will get better - as for the manager - let him prove worthy of that faith - long way to go yet Boo!
Then support our left back who ever it may be and believe he will get better because i,m convincrd he would want to.
Alternatively: Set up some mindless, abusive chanting (at whoever it may be). Then it will destroy his confidence and prove you were right.
You know it's the Blades way....
