seems like he is joining us on loan from Stoke..
I only remember him as an error prone defender at southampton..lets hope that was in the past...

Just checked Stoke's website. He was Southampton's player of the season when Stoke signed him but got an injury and has hardly featured for Stoke. He's "only" 6'3" so probably too short for Stoke! Former England U21. Rather have Killa obviously but at least bringing Davies in would avoid messing the rest of the defence around.

I remember the last time we had a last minute defender in on loan, Neil Collins, Akinibiyi scored that screamer at Hillsborough!
