We often comment on players who played poorly for us suddenly looking like world beaters when they play against us. Need to appreciate Luke Thomas maintaining his quality level even when playing for the oppo.

Played well tonight, it seems he has finally stopped coming in on his left everytime now and actually started to be a bit mote unpredictable, going on outside or inside & it also helps with Serikis overlaps, they link really well.

There was so many skills required by Brooks to create that assist for Tom Cannon's goal.

It's an old cliche but if that had been Saka the MOTD pundits would have been replaying it over and over.

Just to add - Arblaster's pass to Seriki (just enough pace but a shade of spin to keep it in play) is credit to our Academy.

This is bang on, there is now a variety of options.

I guess this is now helped by having 2 strikers who 9 times out of 10, are in the box ready for the cross.

That was (and still is) my main gripe with playing 1 up top.

There is only one player to hit with the cross if you are playing 1 up top and sometimes 0 with some of our strikers.

he did play well last night but he has to be more consistent for me and dont lets forget he was up against probably the worst left back in the championship he needs to put these type of performances in more often if he does he starts every game

He has all the attributes and being a local academy lad we all wish the best for him, but I fear he’ll turn out to be the typical bang average hit and miss championship winger.

However, at his best (such as yesterday) it is clear that he could forge out a career in the prem. He and Seriki are worth sticking with for the rest of the season.
