We often comment on players who played poorly for us suddenly looking like world beaters when they play against us. Need to appreciate Luke Thomas maintaining his quality level even when playing for the oppo.

This is bang on, there is now a variety of options.

I guess this is now helped by having 2 strikers who 9 times out of 10, are in the box ready for the cross.

That was (and still is) my main gripe with playing 1 up top.

There is only one player to hit with the cross if you are playing 1 up top and sometimes 0 with some of our strikers.

He has all the attributes and being a local academy lad we all wish the best for him, but I fear he’ll turn out to be the typical bang average hit and miss championship winger.

However, at his best (such as yesterday) it is clear that he could forge out a career in the prem. He and Seriki are worth sticking with for the rest of the season.

Well, mad to sign an extension here given what we've offered historically. That's the one thing we've really yet to see with the new owners yet is how they handle contract negotiations with anyone half decent. Previously it seemed to be about 20 years behind the pace with how much players are worth, one hopes that number will be lower but how much lower is the question

I think the beef is another bit of fan fiction. All relationships have ups and downs, but CW has to take some plaudits in AB’s rich vein of form. More importantly Brooks has added confidence and belief to his obvious talent. Great to see a local lad doing so well.
