Good post. Brooks wasn’t at his best with the ball today but defensively he was excellent.

Brooks and Seriki seems to work as a duo on the right. Seriki can go outside whilst Brooks tucks in. I’d say Brooks is the best option we have for the right side and should be invested in. I don’t think he can be a top end champ player but that’s fine, if he can be a good championship player consistently that would be really useful.

I am a Brooks fan, but he was off it earlier in the game. Got better as the game went on though and we always look more of a threat with him in the side IMO.

Yes, he has nondescript games sometimes, but name me a few of our players who don’t.

Like Bannan, he has the ability to control a ball and pass it to a teammate. This makes him stand out in their squad. Wouldn't be surprised to see him being loaned to another club in Jan.

Banana wouldnt got anywhere near any of our match day sqauds in the last decade. Only one youd think he would have a chance to get on bench in (taking red tinted glasses off) is adkins league one team. And even that deam Hammond would have done more unseen work than him.

I still reckon Brooks would be better in central midfield. That's where he first broke into the team and where he has looked the most comfortable. Would love to see a Peck-Arblaster-Brooks trio in midfield.

Agree he was their best player and one of a few who looked capable of playing football. Would be much better serving his time at top end league 1 where he can really play

He did play well, compared to the rest of their players. He didn’t hide.

He also got dispossessed by Brooks more times than your average pig can count on one hand

Brooks had some really good performances early last season too. Seemed to go into his shell when we brought Rak Sayki in.
Definitely a player there.

Wouldn't blame Brooks if he hands in a transfer request 1st Jan. Wilder clearly isn't a fan, his career is faltering because he never gets the proper run of games he clearly deserves. Can see him haunting the fuck out of us once he's gone too

have to agree one game he looks a world beater next hes unbelievably bad personally i dont think brooks chong or ogbene are near good enough for the right side if were to push for top 6 next season get choudray in at right back and play seriki in front of him on the right wing
