Yeah doubt his wages are anywhere near 'average' prem wages even if they have gone up.

I don’t think anyone suggests they would – indeed I doubt any of our players will be anywhere other than the lower end of the wages range in the PL. But I think it’s quite reasonable to think that some of our fringe players would be now lifted to levels similar to an average Championship wage (I.e ~£10k/week). As I said, Evans was recently reported as having risen to £10k/week – that seems wholly feasible, and a reason why financially it’s not simple to just get rid for a fee.

Surprised he's re-joined Fleetwood because after how he did last season I thought he may attract a bigger lub, maybe he has, but just wants to be back at Fleetwood. Either way, all the best to Ched. I'll always wonder who re-signed him but either way I hope he does well. His goals in his first spell for great and we should have been promoted that season.

Never a real signing. We payed real money to a relegated L1 club for a player who'd been injured for 6 months, and then gave him a 4 year deal. There were no other bidders.
