Morning Blades.

Last night at Stoke I put the boys flag out with the others on the netting to the left of the away end (if you were looking at the pitch).

Unfortunately when I went to collect it at the end, it had gone. I asked the stewards who didn’t see anyone take it. It was pretty well tied on with bungees so would have taken some shifting, unless someone just ragged it.

Anyway, it’s not the absolute end of the world, but the flag has been with us home and away all season in what has been a special season for me and my son doing every game together. We’ve had a picture taken of it at every ground for memories sake.

If anyone hears of anything, please let me know. It’s got Birdwell Blades across it, St George’s cross type flag, with our nickname, S70 and a Blades badge.

Thanks everyone.

I hope it was some kind soul tidying up & who is looking after it for you.
If it wasn’t & appreciate it’s a bit of a long shot but have you asked Stoke to check their CCTV?
Hope you & your flag are soon reunited.

Mate - I don’t know if it helps but just watching the match back & I’m wondering if your flag was one of the 2 on the netting in front of entrance 38, near the front? One was yellow & one was white.
At 84.58 on the clock you can just make out the stewards & a bloke taking down the yellow Blades flag.
Then at 86.38 (when Brooks scores) it’s clear that both flags that were there have gone. But maybe there is a white one rolled up at the edge of the seats? It’s still there during the celebrations after the game.
Don’t know if that helps you at all.

FFS mate, I hope you get that back. I'm the same about sentimental things myself. Hopefully, as GodrickBlade has said above, it's just a case of overzealous stewards taking flags down and placing them under seats so Stoke should be able to sort your flag for you.

On a lighter note, I always look out for your flag to check our your lass's health. It's always nice to see that she's well ;) (bet you've never heard that before!)

My lads looked at the highlights and it’s there one minute then all three flags were gone on the next clip. I’m guessing someone at Stoke took them down. I think the yellow one was the Handsworth Blades one but can’t remember, so if whoever has that one is in here and knows the whereabouts of them, please let me know.

I’ll contact Stoke but the stewards didn’t seem to have a clue.

Thanks for your help everyone.
