Wilder has said exactly that.

The deadline for McFadzean passed last Friday, hence the Burton switch.
We will have other targets, maybe Pearce or Morgan from Wigan, who have an abundance of centre halves, and are close to sign Jake Buxton

All left sided centre halves can be crossed off the list we have JoC and Wright. People are saying JoC lacks pace? He seemed to have a decent turn of pace on Saturday!? Not sure what being judged on.

To the side topic in the thread about Fleck AK referred to him as a left sided central midfield player in his Sheffield live interview. I think it's a good bet he will play in the centre with Bash or Wallace.

Think Pierre / Jack Stephens / Nathan Cameron would all be good shouts.

Contradicting yourself somewhat there, whilst i agree Aaron Pierre would potentially be a good signing, he is a left-sided centre back.

Well, I later read a post by a certain Pinchy that quoted the same from earlier in the day, which I had missed. I'm wondering though if that was actually me and I have dissociative identity disorder.
