I think it would be ridiculous to ban a few kids, tits though they can be at times, for a misguided moment of attempted banter, which I'm certain is all it was. if the star want the real story, a glance on here would show that the general consensus is their behaviour was unacceptable, as very quickly, did the people concerned. Its a non story whose instigator has no actual recollection of what was said with boosted by quotes from a sad, rival chairman who wasn't even there. It shouldn't even have got as far as top be treated seriously on s24su let alone the local media. If agree, but personally think the club banning them from now till the end of the season would emphasise the message that we dont tolerate this. The club will have acted proportionately and they can acknowledge that these fans were shouted down very quickly by many Blades and we move on. It's certainly a lot more of a positive story than the field day we're giving all the local press currently.
No one gets feathered and tarred, the fans involved might feel a little hard done to but hopefully will have learnt that they have to take responsibility for their actions and the club won't make excuses for them.
As with Ched, the club just seem slow and like they are only reacting because the press make them.
