Wonder what the idiots will sing about Peterborough?

Im not scared to admit it, if they think of anything I wont be ashamed, Id be impressed!
They won't sing "town full of isis" because they're town hasn't been reported in the media for people wanting to join isis ;)

Just look at the threads on here and on other social media. Enough people heard to confirm it happened. Going all porktalk and trying to hush it up is not the way to handle it. These idiots need shaming. It’s a shame it also damages the reputation of our club but it’s the fault of the idiots who did the chanting. Nobody else.
Im not saying town full of ISIS wasnt sung
just saying its at worst a jibe on a factual occurence
people who knows from which race have left bradford for syria . A FACT

Town full of Poles / any East European country / Migrant Workers / London Commuters / Posh Gay boys
Im sure someone will find it offensive

Presumably we need to be careful with ' Lancashire, wank wank wank' and 'We hate Cockneys' in future.

Not got the time to read all 15 pages but I did browse through, and leaving the moral side of this etc, what do we think will be the punishment, should we be found guilty? I couldn't help worry about potential points deductions from this, although a fine is more likely?

I am sure some on here won't rest until we are deducted points and fined.

Can I just check - I know we can't chant anything that might be remotely offensive to some sensitive souls but are we still allowed to boo the ref? And do we need to applaud politely if the opposition score?

Perhaps the chanting was a show of solidarity.

Like United- ISIS are funded by the Saudis. They look reluctant to splash the cash to replace Jihadi John in the JTW and look set to remain a 3rd rate caliphate for another year

well at least we havent drawn any cartoons ..... yet

These kind of chants epitomise the number of pig ignorant pond life we have supporting the club and seemingly on this forum.Probably the same cunts who think raping someone is ok if they're drunk.

Is it racist? Debatable. Is it completely out of order? Yes.

Just been ont news FA investigating if club should be punished. Stand by Toby foster phone in based on 21,000 fans simultaneously chanting racist songs. Making summert out of nowt as per

Just like the PC brigade on this forum with their mock outrage and exaggerations pouring gallon after gallon of petrol on a smouldering fag end

I thought this was just going to be a storm in a tea cup, but it now looks like it's growing arms and legs.

The FA are going to use us an example of how tough they are on "racism" aren't they? and come down on us like a ton of bricks, I can see a game behind closed doors being imposed, hefty fine and a possible points deduction.

I must say I am surprised no-one has objected to the inappropriate use of the word "town" by a few misguided and ignorant morons. Totally outrageous and disrespectful to the people of Bradford methinks. Last time I checked Bradford was a city - unless they've been relegated of course.

^Town full of ISIS^?

Yup, I guess that was song as a response to the few people from that city who joined ISIS and has nothing to do with the high Asian population, who by their ethnic origin must therefore be terrorists?

I'm no bleeding heart lefty liberal (ask judge ) but for fucks sake, to claim that is not racist?? Tell you what, let the media and FA read this thread for evidence.

And I speak as someone who sat on the Kop and can say, definitively, that this is a storm in a tea cup.

Yep - there's a race issue here, but you've nailed it - some of our fans just love fuelling a fire - this is doing nobody any favours.

UTB

Fight, flight or acquiesce? I am not fuelling a fire (well, not intentionally) but when poster say it's not racist (when I sincerely believe it is) then i feel compelled to respond rather than leaving that opinion hanging. Although, as I type this, I think you may have a point and perhaps this topic should just be ended and left to whoever has the unenviable task of investigating it.

There is a race issue (although it's probably more of a hate crime than racism). Is it aimed at black or white people from Bradford? No it bloody isn't. It's not a Bradford issue but Bradford is well known for its large Asian (mainly Muslim) population. Indeed, I've heard our supporters chant direct racism at a Bradford game before. Times change. Language changes. The intent does not.

ITV and others also reporting "hundreds". Total bollocks, and yes, it seems started by "our" local paper!

Indeed, but aided and abetted by some on here who would rather polish their personal PC credentials than stop and think about the damage this is doing to our club. We know from bitter experience that large sections of the press - local and national - can't wait to jump on any indiscretion by United. 'Indiscretions' that occur at most grounds the length and breadth of the country but pass without comment.

The facts. Between 20 and 50 young lads in a large crowd thought they'd be clever and started a brief, inappropriate and juvenile chant. That's it. Nobody died. Nobody got hurt. I didn't join in and neither did 99.9% of Blades fans. So if anybody expects a collective mea culpa they'll have a fucking long wait to get one from me. But some can continue with their 'if you don't condemn it, you condone it' agenda. Martin Samuel will be rubbing his hands.

Stand by for a Radio Sheffield special phone in on Monday where the guest presenter will be Mark The Pitsmoor Owl who will be debating why United fans' disgraceful behaviour is worse than his robbery and obvious drug use.

It would be nice to think that Unitedites would boycott The Star a la Liverpool's continued boycott of The Sun. It wouldn't work. Nobody buys that sad fucking rag any more.

its satire , if you listen to comedians they say it on stage
its a poor world if you cant laugh at life

when did life become so shallow that we get attacked for freedom of speech

dont people want to live here for that
we are tolerant of every fucker but our selves

.

Now that would be worth listening to. Radio Pig's favourite caller, on top of being a convicted armed robber, is a member of the EDL. He's even had his photograph taken with Tommy Robinson.

It's in the media, so of course Radio Sheffield will make a meal of it but that suggestion on who hosts it is top drawer. :)

I was in the South Stand and thought I heard "Town full of" but not the last part. If it was "Pakis" or "ISIS" then I'd be appropriately disappointed, but it has to be said that it would be my first experience of racist chanting at the Lane.

Isis is not a religion or a race so how can this be racist chanting
