Is it pure chance that he ends up on the bench then sold everywhere he goes?

To be fair, he has been unlucky in that people who have signed him have moved on rather quickly afterwards, and found to be surplus to requirements.

Wouldn't say he was a world beater, but was a decent all round footballer, but not exactly great in any specific area.

Bruce always looked to be a bit of a loose cannon whenever I've seen him. Thought he had potential as a kid but not really delivered on it. Might develop alongside Morgan, though.

As said already, give the lad a chance before we write him off. Still not hugely inspiring.

Come on Chris, get your arm round him and tell him everything's going to be alright, everything's going to be red and white.

Much ado about nowt.

He replied to a tweet weeks ago saying he'd be moving on after his contract expired, so he knew he wasn't staying.

Also, no.

problem I see with all these experienced player suggestions - Given, Bruce, Wheater etc is they will all want top dollar as they are nearing the end of their careers, £10/15/20k per week. Will this cause unrest amongst the younger hungry lads?
if we are you going to recruit at this ££ level I would prefer it to be a young prem fringe player from Man U, Liverpool etc who can bring raw enthusiasm, or an import Udders style, rather than a Fletcher/Rhodes grunter style big name wank sock

I know you shouldn't blame the son for the sins of the father and all that, but......

BRUCE!

Another chuffing granny lookalike Bruce wannker? He can do one right now.

Not a fan of his. Believe he is too lightweight and lacks the concentration or game situation reading of a decent CB.
If this does come to pass then it means that:
1. Wilder's budget is lower than we had hoped.
2. He can't get the quality he wants for a CB with the money he has available (see point 1.)
3. Jake Wright has signed a new deal so Bruce may be cover (would expect Bruce would want first team action)
4. EEL is slipping through his fingers and he wants a backup (or putting pressure on EEL to make a decision).
5. CW is trying to make Jags jealous
6. It'll be an inspired bit of transer work by the mercurial Mester Wilder

........ Ken adding 2 and 2 and making 6, 7 and 9 from it.

or....

7. Wilder has handed in his notice over having Ched forced on him and is off to the Mackems.

Bruce Jnr has only agreed to come in because Bruce Snr has 'unfinished business' at BDTBL and wants to come back and make amends for being a prize wanker in 98/99.

If we're aiming for the definition of mediocrity, get him signed ASAP.
