Why don 't we keep a kit for 3 years like the good old days

That is the problem in a nutshell for me! When the club change the kit every season, they need to make it look a fair bit different otherwise no one will buy it.

So it’s inevitable that some kits aren’t going to be liked as much as previous kits, but the positive is that it’s only for a season so hopefully we’ll get something which is more popular next season.

For me this kit is ok, nothing special but I really can’t understand why, after 5 matches, people are still bitching about it. No adult should be seen wearing a football shirt other than watching the team play or playing 5 a side. If you see a football shirt as a fashionable item of clothing, you need to have a serious word with yourself!

Looks to me like they've got exactly the same template as us this season. They must be having the same, albeit reversed, arguments as us, 'stripes, stripes !!!'

So there you have it in a nutshell, Adidas having 1 template which 2 teams use and it doesn't traditionally work for either.

My first real season I remember was the premier league start. I had a wall chart with all the kits on.

Us, Man U and Villa all had lace up collar.

Then these all had same template from umbro..
