Bayern MunichWhich club had the same template as us last season?
Bayern Munich
Palmeiras
Off the top of my head, which means they'll be more too.
But it is striped lolI'll give it 10 mins before people say that's not the same template because none are striped![]()

They did.Palmeiras had a stripe on the sleeve?
Never got this template shirt thing.
It’s a red & white striped shirt and I don’t think they’ve produced one for another club that’s absolutely identical apart from the colours and badge.
There’s many clubs with red & white stripes, producing another clubs shirt with red & white stripes doesn’t make ours or theirs a template.
Fed up of the Club being treated like a second class citizen by Adidas
Just a buzz term nothing more, template kits have been present since the dawn of kit sponsorship but for some reason people seem to get irate about it.

Correct.
My first real season I remember was the premier league start. I had a wall chart with all the kits on.
Us, Man U and Villa all had lace up collar.
Then these all had same template from umbro..

Agree, although last time we were promoted from the Championship we had a plain back shirt. Could be a lucky charm

Puma kits are tight fitting which look stupid. I want Nike, Adidas really fucked up our identity this season.
Have you seen Atlético Madrid's shirt this season?

Just had a look. That is grim.
Nike have this fixation with making everything look like it's slightly out of tune and putting lines and noise on everything.
I’m pretty sure we initially signed a four-year deal with adidas. If so, this seasons kits must have formed part of a new deal with them. Very strange we didn’t announce that.
Regarding this years kits. Biggest irritation about the home kit is that, from the back, not a single bit of red is visible. Norwood must think he still plays for Fulham when we attack.
Away needs a splash of red. That’s all. It’s a shame it’s a readily available “team kit”, but it fits in with us being intent on revisiting the fluorescent colourway every few years. As a shirt it’s pretty nice. And it is the ‘correct’ colour, if we are basing it on the OG version. I noticed they wore matching shorts yesterday. Would have loved to have seen us wear red shorts instead...

How difficult can it be to get right? Year One: Traditional red and white stripes, no black; Year 2: Red and White stripes with some black; Year 3 Thicker red and white stripes. Repeat and rinse. Basically all the kits that score highly on kit nostalgia threads fall into one of these three basic concepts.
Then for a bonus, the club agrees a sponsorship that doesn't involve a logo in clashing colours that takes up a quarter of the shirt front.
it just a football kitJust a hint: If someone were to produce a long-sleeved version of that shirt, it would have fifty of my English pounds heading its way....
I preferred it when they had 4 suggestions and you voted. The reason it slipped under the radar is because every little detail about new kits is always guarded as if it's in the interests of national security, to set up the ever so exciting 'big reveal'.
Can't be putting all that effort into the utterly shit promotional campaign only to have design details emerge early now can we...

I got the Sporting Lisbon away shirt from our recent trip to Portugal it’s Macron but a million miles from when we had them in terms of quality.
