Does it run out at the end of this season?

I reckon we should move on if they insist on the back of the shirts being plain.

Keep it simple an' all that.

Not bad that in fairness.

I'd like New Balance if Adidas don't continue.

Nike / Adidas / New balance

Please nothing second grade like Puma etc

Puma make some truly grim kits and as above, they're a Wednesday kit supplier like Sondico to me.

Adidas or Umbro. Safety.

Macron. Binbags.

Nike. Don't give a shit unless you're in the CL.

Hummel would probably give more of a shit about our traditions.

New Balance would be an unknown but possibly nice.

I know the new home kit wasn't well received on here but generally outside of this most people I talk to don't mind it, even the old git I sit near that's been wearing the same 30 year old kit for years bought one.

And last season's was a masterpiece.

Don’t think it’s Adidas that have insisted on it. Pretty sure I’ve read somewhere that it’s now in the EFL rules that plain backs only are allowed.

Nope. That's just circulated constantly. Plenty of teams have striped backs.

It's adidas' design philosophy this season that's all.

If so that is absolutely shit.
We're a striped team - they can see numbers in shorts if they have a fucking problem.

Really hope they stay with Adidas.

Been impressed with all the kits. Had doubts about this seasons until I saw it in the flesh. Love being able to see the numbers on the shirt but maybe the whole back didn’t have to be white.

Associated gear is great but maybe a little expensive. I got a grey lightweight Adidas top though for half price at £15 and had the emblem ironed on for £2.50. Great casual wear on a hot summer day and my favourite shirt.

Better than eleven8 or whatever it is anyway.

Some good coats as well, especially the winter ones.

It’s not just about the shirt it’s about the rest as well. Overall though, I think the shirts have been great.

A bit too much going on in last seasons for me, like they'd over-thought it.

Plus I prefer stripes on the sleeves.

Wasn't perfect but still was fantastic, if we just kept last season's with striped sleeves and wider stripes it would be perfect for me.

Whoever the manufacturer it seems we can't control what the shirt looks like so it needs to be a proper supplier. My rankings.below

Top:
Adidas
Nike
Umbro

Middling:
New Balance
Puma
Kappa
Le coq sportif
Under armour

Crap:
Macron
Sondico

Ignoring Wednesday I don't see why some don't like Puma....look at Palaces away kit...quality...substitute black for blue and we'd have a great away kit

Elev8?

You can't please everyone, but it would be a really good idea to draft 4 options and put it to a fans' vote.

New Balance for me. Fed up of the Club being treated like a second class citizen by Adidas with their template kits. Stripes front, back and on sleeves, no brainer. We are Sheffield United, the original United and that should mean an original kit design. The Club also need to give someone else the job of agreeing kits after the monstrosity of a Home Shirt slipped under the radar this season.

How do you do it though without the vote being infiltrated by people that vote for Diamond kit mk2 or whatever the obvious shocker is?

And if you do that you've got the fans of the 3 that didn't win constantly whining on the internet going 'we should have had this one the one that won is shit' for the rest of the season.

Never got this template shirt thing.

It’s a red & white striped shirt and I don’t think they’ve produced one for another club that’s absolutely identical apart from the colours and badge.

There’s many clubs with red & white stripes, producing another clubs shirt with red & white stripes doesn’t make ours or theirs a template.

A few years ago they did that and one of the options was a shirt with a slightly deeper red, I think it was described as blackcurrent red.

IMO that would have been a fantastic shirt and I voted for it. It looked really classy, much better than the one we ended up with.

It think it lost because of the different shade of red. That shouldn’t have made any difference. Look at Wednesday, they’ve got their stadium painted in about six or seven different shades of blue and they don’t give a fook.

We should obviously just let Door Deals design and produce our kits.

Which club had the same template as us last season?
