Think he’d gone for a chat with reed they will have played in the academy together for us.That's what we said, but he came out to see a Doncaster player originally so hopefully we are wrong

I think you may be over thinking here Betting. Probably just clapping in appreciating the large support for a friendly match and the waive as a 'goodnight' gesture as he leaves the pitch. I don't think he's going anywhere.Maybe I’m overthinking here but that clap and wave at the end tonight felt very much like a goodbye clap and a wave.
On trial with donny their fans seem to think they’ve got a contract agreed but donny need to raise the funds to finance it before it’s announced.Thought it was him but then thought he was still at Peterborough

I get (and agree with) your point about timing and imposin impacting the season but there are 30 million reasons why Arsenal won't be told to f-off.I've have a think about this, especially now we are one friendly away from the season starting.
How about we just tell them to fuck off?
They've had their chance to put in an enticing offer and give us plenty of time to secure an adequate replacement.
We are less than a fortnight away from the first game, Verrips might have a slight injury and the likes of Bettinelli, who we could have got in, have now moved on.
There comes a point where timing becomes an issue. I'm not sure we want to be bedding in a new keeper on the first game of the season. I think we are pretty much at that point now.
I know we supposedly have a 40m hole to fill, but perhaps we just wait until Jan. At which point, if we are extremely well placed then perhaps future success enables us to absorb.
I'd rather just keep him now. It's an important position. He will be a net positive for the team if he plays anything like he did post Christmas and he's an influence in the dressing room and not pushing for a move.
So, for me, it was either shit or get off the pot time for Arsenal and they found themselves constipated! And for that reason, I'm out.
But there aren't, I think that is the issue!I get (and agree with) your point about timing and imposin impacting the season but there are 30 million reasons why Arsenal won't be told to f-off.
minimum 30m or he stays hereBut there aren't, I think that is the issue!
If their 3rd bid is looking like 18m rising to 25m I don't see how this is enticing. 18m is not so much more than what we would have paid to Bournemouth and a lot of that 7m is reliant on their future success and personally I don't see what is so encouraging about Arteta to suggest they will break into the top 4.
So 18m plus some coulda, shoulda, woulda is potentially far from the 30m that might turn our heads.

Burnley aren’t paying what we want for him cumulatively for all the players they’ll sign this window. And it would be a weird allocation of resources for Watford.![]()

Lost all credibility the second I read that part.Arsenal 'planning DOUBLE swoop for Sheffield United duo Aaron Ramsdale and Sander Berge' as Mikel Arteta continues summer spending spree to overhaul Gunners squad
Arsenal are set to be considering a double-raid on Sheffield United for goal-keeper Aaron Ramsdale and midfielder Sander Berge.
Mikel Arteta has been chasing Ramsdale for some time, but his interest has re-emerged in Berge after unofficial talks seemed to cool off earlier this year, according to The Star.
The Gunners are thought to be baulking at the Blades' £40million demand for Ramsdale, believing an offer of £30m is more appropriate, but United are not moving.
However, as a compromise, Arsenal are reportedly willing to table a sizeable offer for both Ramsdale and Berge that the Blades, as a Championship club, would find difficult to turn down.
For his part, United manager Slavisa Jokanovic has made it clear he has no intention of selling either player.

Way way off the mark, only the reporters opinion.£40m star could hand in transfer request as he wants to join Arsenal so badly
Peter O’Rourke has suggested that Aaron Ramsdale really wants to join Arsenal this summer on The Football Terrace.
Arsenal are said to have made Ramsdale their first choice goalkeeping target.
The Gunners have actually had two bids rejected for Ramsdale already, but they are now prepped to bid for a third time.
Sheffield United have so far fought hard to keep Ramsdale.
But things could turn sour, as O’Rourke thinks that there is a possibility that the 23-year-old could hand in a transfer request.
“Two bids have been turned down and I believe they’re preparing a third bid of close to £30 million,” O’Rourke said.
“Ramsdale is very keen to make this move happen, he wants to get back to the Premier League, and would jump at the chance to move to the Emirates Stadium.
“Crazily enough I’ve heard recently that Sheffield United are holding out for £40 million.
“But Arsenal’s goalkeeping coach is still pushing for this deal, he says that Ramsdale is their number one choice if they are to bring in a goalkeeper.
“I fully expect them to get the Ramsdale deal done even though Sheffield United are trying to get as much money as they can for the keeper.
“If this next bid gets rejected I would expect Ramsdale to force the issue and possibly hand in a transfer request.

Just like Paul Robinson and most of talk sports pundits.
Pete O'Rourke usually gets pretty good information. A lot of these better journalists are mouth pieces for player agents.
