THE FUTURE ... AS IT USED TO BE

I see a lot of people on here actively playing Championship Manager or FIFA16 with the situation at BDTBL now that the season has deflated and looks as flat as a witch's tit. Whilst it is nice to speculate and show ambition and optimism, are we all setting ourselves up for more disappointement, come late August?
I'll tell you why. McCabe has come out with a bald statementa few weeks ago that he shoved eight million into the club this season. Whilst we have a nice, new playing surface, Billy Sharp and a few stragglers, I don't see where this has gone in, unless it is servicing debt, or paying off the growing flotsam we have in our wake with regard failed managemental appointments. And recently we are another million in hock with regard operating costs.
Now everyone farts on about how much we are set on jettisoning seventeen or so players, and how much this will assumedly go into a collective rebuilding fund. But will a club with so much (apparent) liability shove that cash the way of playing staff? Especially when in the past it has 'gone cheap' and sold it's talented players?
My questions to those optimists is this:
1. Where is the fucking money coming from?
2. How much do you think, finger in the air, we will have availble to spend on players considering we ditch the out of contracts?
3. What are the targets and your assumptions on costs in both signing and wages?
4. Do you think McCabe will enable this? I mean, 'all of it' and not disappointingly re-contract desperate, gash players on reduced terms. just to pay their profligate lifestyles for meagre returns losing serially in the third division.
5. Are you on drugs?
Considering McCabe has made it bloody clear there's no more money coming in and his past behaviour, and the fact that we need a Championship squad to go up, I'd like to see your working out, please.
