Overall though Burton had the better of it with their wide right player, Maghoma in particular causing all sorts of problems for our defence.

Although Maghoma drifted in and out of the game a little I thought he would be a perfect addition to our squad. Hope DW keeps an eye on him.

Looks like Maghoma's off to a Championship club

Jacques Maghoma is set to leave Burton Albion.

The attacking midfielder was Burton’s top scorer last season with his eighteen goals firing the Brewers to the play offs, though they couldn’t get past Bradford.
Manager Gary Rowett said ”It was always the situation that Jacques’ representatives had made it clear this would be his last season at Burton,”
“I understand that he’s had at least a couple of offers from Championship clubs and there was no point us sitting down and trying to compete with some of the offers he will get.
“People may think ‘why haven’t they tried to tie him down?’ but we have to accept the situation.
“So we shook hands on a brilliant season and, as far as I’m concerned, Jacques will always be welcome here.”
