Other commitments mean I can't be there, but this is utterly ridiculous. The fixtures came out on 17th June for christssakes. They've had a minimum of 40 days for me to sort this out, and now they announce it with three weeks to go.

I feel very sorry for those that have, in good faith, purchased tickets well in advance to get a cheap rate. This will happen a lot this season, match k.o. times being moved, due to the fact that 90% of the police forces aren't used to policing anything larger than 100 away supporters. Let's just hope that they give us ample notice, i.e. at least 2 months.

Something to get used to throughout this season i should expect...:(

Yeovil Kick off 1pm

Brought forward at the request of the police. Bad enough travelling 250 miles in time for a 3pm kick-off but 1pm requires a very early start and maybe impossible by train. Away fan considerations completely ignored again as usual.

what are bollocks this is. I am only travelling from London, but it has ballsed up my plans and will cost me extra money. The planning I have done is now going to cost me more than if I had just turned up and taken any old train on the day.

I shall be writing to the police and both football clubs. But is there anyone I can make a serious complaint to? (that is worthwhile and will be listened to). I will write to the Football Supporters Federation (FSF) but is there anyone else that represents fans and can give us a voice on issues like this?

This is not something to beat the club with but do you think they might back the supporters in this case, in the past they have fought our corner.

Obviously didn't fight very hard on this one if the way the news has been announced on the OS is anything to go by no mention of sympathy for people like Olle who will be out of pocket nor any regrets of any kind.

kick off now 1pm!

Aye... pain in arse for those travelling down on the day.

also Pain in the arse for those who like Formula 1 as the Beligum GP qualifying now clashes with the Yeovil v Sheff Utd kick off at 1pm

What do people think the chances are of getting a ticket on General Sale day? Are we going to sell 2000 tickets to Season Ticket holders/Members with 2500+ loyalty points?

I would be shocked if we sold all our tickets for this. Anything over 500 Blades making the 10 hour plus return trip would be a good following (imo).

Think i'll risk waiting then rather than asking someone with more loyalty points to get one for me.

Foxy has secured our tickets this afternoon. We're camping for a few days over the bank holiday (Thursday while Tuesday) so if anyone is around Yeovil Friday/Saturday night, let us know if you fancy meeting up for a drink.

Really? I reckon we'll take quite a few to be honest, considering it's the first time we've ever played there.

Got my 3 tickets today, driving down on the day which is a bit of a pain in the arse now it's 1pm kick off but never mind :)

Perhaps you are right Daz. Did not realise we had never played there before. Guess there will be a few looking to get the ground ticked off and generally have the experience. Thought the 1pm kick off time and early start might put people off. What time you setting off? I noticed the coach goes at 4:30am!?

Yeah, that was my thinking too :)

4.30am?! Haha! No way I'll be setting off that early, reckon I'll be looking to leave my house around 6-6.30am. Providing I don't hit ridiculous traffic around Bristol I reckon I'd be there for 11ish with a half hour piss and food stop!

A bit over an hour from here, and have friends living 5 mins from the ground so staying with them and making a weekend of it. :)

Is there anybody who's recently bought a ticket who knows how many we've sold so far?

there are currenlty 'around a 1000' tickets left. I asked when buying Brentford tickets. 500 gone in the first 3/4days. If it keeps going at this rate then we might sell out! I'll keep an eye on it and then if they are running low get someone with enough loyalty points to get me a ticket.

Can't go now - train ticket available from London

Going down at 10:20 (arriving in Yeovil around 12:30 - hence you might have to take a taxi to ground) and returning at 18:29 (getting into London at 9pm-ish).

Would like to recoup cost (I paid £30) but will accept offers.

1300 tickets sold so far says official site, so will be a pretty good turnout given the distance from Sheffield.

Looked up the address of friends I'm visiting in Yeovil on Google maps and when I put in the postcode the ground showed up about 2 streets away on the satellite picture. :D

I am getting almost giddy with the thought of standing on terracing again tomorrow.
Or maybe its the effing cold I have had this week - not pleasant.
Need some Somerset Easy Rider to quench the thirst tomoz I guess.

Just sat in the Halfway House about two-miles from Huish Park having finally got a decent enough internet connection to fix the site/forum issues.

Think we'll be drinking pre-match either here or the Carpenters Arms, which is about half way between here and the ground.

Anyone who wants to know/meet for a pint, drop me a text, if you haven't got my number, drop me a PM with yours/asking for mine :)

Need Charlton not to win at Gigg Lane and MK Dons not to win at home to Stevenage to be clear at the top tonight

Appreciate the sentiments, but the season doesn't end tonight. 5 games 13 points is above all our expectations. Long may it continue.

Bury, Scunny and Huddersfield up next. They will be a sterner test...

Sounded as though we stepped off the pedal second half. A win is a win though. UTB!

at peter gordino services bristol, on the way back , thoroughly professional collection of 3 points , Collins gets better every game

The ref today was bloody awful, yellow card itus, the sending off was as soft as Ive seen
Very strange ground, Huish Park , like Sheffield clubs ground at Dronfield ,painted green standing at a match , seemed weird.
