We'll open this thread up for discussion when we're back, but for our updates and mobile pictures from the press conference, watch:

Apparently there are around 50 people already in the car park.

So Linz, did you agree with Mr McCabes view that 'the female supporters would choose the good looking candidate..' ?

Never thought of our chairman as a dinasour!

Some very bizarre statements from him, 'getting teams promoted.... I can think of one man' er no I can think of quite a few.

Should be interesting if he is true to his word and invites the fans in after the press

We were struggling trying to keep up... and also for those of us sitting near the back, the noise from the fans outside was drowning out what was being said.

as one of the fans outside listning to some of mccabes comments on the radio im still astonished by the appointment and the alienation it has caused, when the fans were invited in after a old friend and sometime buisness associate plus blades executive commented in the Q&A kevin ive known you many years as a friend and buisness man buy today you have made the biggest mistake EVER.
mccabe looked quite vexed by this and tried pushing the point of why he thought it was such a mistake.
if kevin doesnt know now then i really think he never will.

I've no issue with the vitriol at McCabe's door but how did Wilson take/look upon all of this? I've got to admit to feeling a bit sorry for him if i'm honest.

Can just picture Blackwell with his feet up watching SSN pissing himself at the pantomime in front of him.

I love the thought of an out of work manager (and one recently returned to the 4th tier) laughing at the man who has got the job they'd love to have.

I'd imagine they're both glad they're well out of the madness. Both will have got handsome compo deals out of it.

I'd imagine that Wilson saw McCabe as a pretty impressive bloke during the interview process. I wonder how much he's wondering whether he knows what he's doing now.

I would also imagine that Warnock is itching to tell someone what he's thinking right now too.
