Jacob Greaves….son of Mark Greaves (ex Hull)
Seen both him and Potter from 8 yrs upwards as the same age group as my lad.

Was the standout player from the off as a lad though struggled with his growth mid teen years.
He’s done ok at Hull….nothing startling. Usually out of position, bit sluggish and surprised he’s on that list.

Hull have a new owner. I doubt they will be selling off their best to us if we don't go up. Dingles left wing back if we could ship a few out night be the type of signing we are looking at.

I wonder how much Savin would cost. We'll probably need a keeper in the summer.

Djed Spence was a handful when he played against us, not sure if he figures in Wilder's plans or not?

Similar to cooper I reckon 3-4 million
I suspect quite a bit less. I reckon mid to lower table, not exactly minted, league 1 club would struggle to hold out for a huge fee if he wanted to go.

Plymouth are a bigger club and edge of the play-offs. I reckon they'd hold out more but if they don't go up I can't see an upfront of much more than a million. Sure, add-ons would push it up significantly.

Even with millionaire owners, clubs must have been shipping money these last few years.

If he's under 21 that'll be a "not"

Wilder always seemed very reluctant to play youngsters at the Lane preferring to rely on experienced professionals.

Given what was at stake I don't blame him for that btw.

Maybe Hill only went for a million after all and he was an England youth international with plenty of appearances. Think I’m still in pre pandemic pricing mode

It depends on a lot of factors, obviously.

Savin's contract is up in 2023 so will only have a year left in summer. Spurs were interested. If you can avoid a bidding war then maybe not that out of the question.

If there’s genuine prem interest we’re out of the picture really but if it’s just having him watched then there’s a chance. We won’t be the only ones looking bit like with Hill

He should do otherwise he may be in the Premiership either with Forest or sold by CW

Hill chose Fleetwood over Everton. I suspect the chance of actually playing over being Spur's third or fourth choice keeper might be a pull.

It’s the only pull really EFL clubs have short of being someone like Newcastle and offering stellar wages. Doesn’t matter how good you are you’re unlikely to go from league one to prem and start closest I can think of i dele Ali and he had to wait awhile and was the best player I’d seen in the flesh in league one

There was that lad at Wolves, Knightley?, but yeah, if he signs for Spurs he spends the next 2-3 year on loan.

he really should be in his plans! perfect player for the overlapping role, young with potential, and he was on the Blades shortlist during Wilder's time

Too many Premier League appearances apparently.

10 Premier League appearances or large transfer fees excluded them from selection. (no idea what large is)

To the rest of the world it's about ten times what the average Blades fan thinks a large fee is
