With Saint Etienne being relegated from Ligue 1 both these lads would be worth a look if we go up and have money to spend on longer term investments into the academy we’ve seen good results in that regard recently with Peck and One but these two especially N’Guessan would be a step up again in terms of profile of academy recruit both are current French under 17’s with N’Guessan already getting some Ligue 1 minutes at the back of the season and scoring 11 in 12 for France’s under 16’s.
N’Guessan is a languid lanky number 9 with good feet for his age and size and Eymard is another really good sized athlete in midfield that also needs to grow into his frame both if they both continue to grow and develop they could be monsters in a few years
Saint Etienne have spent big recently and then been relegated whilst they shouldn’t be in financial trouble as we’ve seen ourselves once you spend big and then revenue drops due to relegation young players are often seen as a way to generate revenue without impacting the first team.
Obligatory highlights below.
Edit:
Nevermind they couldn’t sign now anyway post Brexit we’d have to wait till they’re 18 they’ll either move elsewhere to other French clubs or feeder teams for the prem before then.
