I have absolutely no idea. But then as you say, the football side pays rent to the parent company which is again, majority owned by McCabe who then puts money in the football side each year to stem losses so it's all kind of circular. I assume the way it's set up is so that as little as possible finds it's way to HMRC etc. rather than McCabe looking to syphon money off one of his companies to put into another.

We have till 5pm dont we? 5pm the day before for Saturday games and 12pm day of the game for evening games - We also could have signed them, registered them but not announced anything. Like Man City did with stones and the european squad list that got leaked.

Of course, we could just be signing no one.

All I'm saying is, if that bloody threadbare patch near where I sit on the Kop is still there tomorrow it'll be shoes off in the car park time.

I have been told that the new pitch is self financing because of the reduced maintainance costs (water mainly) over just a 3 year period.

Absolute no brainer for the club and yet some still want to give the board stick !!
