I think my parents bought me 1975-76 away shirt from Suggs. Think it was in the late 1980s when the club shop started selling replica shirts but I could be wrong as I don't often buy replica shirtsInteresting feature about the new club shop, but no mention of selling replica shirts.
Question - when did the club first start selling replica shirts?
That Sunderland player Kinnell; I don’t suppose he was called Frank Uri Kinnell25/10/1967
Sunderland 2 (Matin, Suggett) Blades 1 (Hill)
Shot from Kinnell hitting the side netting

I remember I got one from Suggs, must have been around 69/70... you couldn't get them before that.. A few years earlier my Grandma bought me a ManU shirt because it was red and white(got worn once, made me feel ill)I think my parents bought me 1975-76 away shirt from Suggs. I remember Archers having a red and white shirt on display in the early 1970s but it didn't look the same as the SUFC shirtI remember I got one from Suggs, must have been around 69/70... you couldn't get them before that.. Inbetween those 2 shirts, I got a Stoke shirt with stripes but white trim, but after a couple of washes turned pink.
Can't think when the club started selling them.
The one I got was the same as 71 promotion shirt, but no badge or anything, can't remember the make.. That 75 shirt was popular, they must have sold a lot of those..i never really bothered buying after the early 70's one though.I remember Archers having a red and white shirt on display in the early 1970s but it didn't look the same as the SUFC shirt

Boxing day 1966Didn’t we beat Man Utd late 60s at home?
Just remember it being a really murky day
I think Man Utd played in their blue away kitBoxing day 1966
My dislike for Leeds started after the Jones transfer. Jones proved a bargain signing for them and proved the catalyst for their success Sickening
