Some non-football fans in attendance. Girl behind us, aged about 15, two of her classics. 'Do all Sheffield United players have to come from Sheffield' and 'We should let them win because they have come a long way'!!
I was in the crowd when we had 22K+ against River Plate in the late 70's I thinkWhat is our highest attendance for a friendly?
Me as well . Lost 2-1 I thinkI was in the crowd when we had 22K+ against River Plate in the late 70's I think
I was with my now wife, it’s the one and only game she has been to, and she spent much of the night looking at the clock at the Bramall Lane, counting the time down. One of the best goals I have seen scored at the Lane that night.Me as well . Lost 2-1 I think
And I think they scored their two inside 10 minutes. The pitch had been patterned with big circles instead of the usual mud patches.Me as well . Lost 2-1 I think
She sounds like a Bladey Blade to me, wanting a team full of hoofball park league players from Sheffield, rather than 'cultured' foreign players from Leeds. Some non-football fans in attendance. Loads of different faces near me on the South Stand. Half had the air of being Kop scumbags seeing how the other half live, the other casual football fans.
She's better than the season ticket holder near me, who spent a decent proportion of the first half debating who we'd sold John Fleck to, because he 'wasn't even on the bench'.
*shakes head*
To my surprise I sat with the inter fans last night. Woman at turnstile said away fans only, but you can sit there if you want. I must admit it was a nice change of pace and some hot ladies about up there.

Thanks for that Kelsy, I don't feel as bad now I know she wasn't your wife at the timeI was with my now wife, it’s the one and only game she has been to, and she spent much of the night looking at the clock at the Bramall Lane, counting the time down. It was 2 night after we beat Liverpool 1 0 in the League Cup.
Season went downhill from then!
Oy! We're not 'Kop scumbags'!Loads of different faces near me on the South Stand. Half had the air of being Kop scumbags seeing how the other half live

I was on the kop, actually in the gangways as there was no room at all, when we scored I ended up near the front, I said earlier that Emlyn Hughes was frightened, so was I at that moment, quality night
I was at that game, was quite young, so sat in the South stand. Liverpool (the European Champions) were all over us, our keeper played a blinder that night, brilliant atmosphere, even in the South stand.
Seem to remember the ref booking all 5 members of their wall because they refused to retreat.Steve Conroy was amazing, hammered us for 80 minutes then bang 1.0 us.
