Louie Barry and Positivity

Barry is right footed and playing on the left wing. He will therefore mainly cut in rather than get past his man and cross. Andre Brooks is left footed playing on the right, so you have the same from him. Defenders will simply push them wide knowing thy are less effective if they can't cut in. It is the modern way to play these so called inverted wingers. I would like to see them swap sides, not permanently but within a game. It would to an extent unsettle defenders.

It was interesting to watch One, who is two footed, deliver a lovely cross from the left yesterday.

In terms of positivity, Godfrey looked good yesterday, both at RB and CB, calm under pressure and at CB, think Seriki looked a bit more relaxed alongside him.

I'd even make him Captain, I know he's only on loan but he looks like he could make a good captain.

Was it Oné who had the header cleared off the line? Haven't seen the highlights yet.

But that was a great ball into him, hooked back across goal on the half volley, think it was Seriki who put the ball in.

One was one of the bright spots yesterday. Looked at home among Millwall's land of the giants, speedy, strong and a bit of end product.
Could see why there have been stories about other clubs being interested.

Yep, very raw & decision making not yet there on any sort of consistent basis but definitely a player there. Looks to have a higher ceiling than either Jebbison or Osula.

And to add, One is the kind of player we should be acquiring as part of any 'project' approach.
He's our player with potential to help the first team and/or bring in substantial funds.
Overloading with loans means we're going to be in a similar position again next summer, whether we're in the Championship or League One, though guess you'd hope some of our own younger players would be ready for League One.
