I love Howard Webb, me. Didn't give us a penalty against Wolves which he later admitted he should have and then sets them up for their second with the best midfield tackle of the night. Despite being part of the south Yorkshire mafia he might feel he owes us one. Sunday would be a good day for our second penalty of the season.
SUFC said:Blades fans are being warned they should not travel to Selhurst Park this Sunday unless they have a ticket.
The message was issued as it was announced United are to receive a further 500 tickets from the Eagles which will go on sale at 8am tomorrow morning (30th April).
Today Blades fans queued from the early hours to snap up 3,000 tickets which went on sale this morning - spurred on by last's night result from Carrow Road which saw Reading defeat Norwich and move close to the Blades and Birmingham City - their opponents on the last day.
Sheffield United Operations Director Simon Argall said:
"Crystal Palace, in conjunction with the Metropolitan Police, have been very co-operative in making additional tickets available to ensure that as many Sheffield United supporters as possible are able to attend this fixture.
"We must stress to our fans they should not travel to Selhurst Park without a ticket.
"Away supporters are not permitted in home areas. Ticket sales for home areas are being strictly monitored by the Metropolitan Police with the assistance of our stewards.
"The police have advised us that any away supporters in Crystal Palace home areas will be ejected on the grounds of health and safety."
Meanwhile, supporters with tickets are being advised to allow plenty of journey times as there are extensive road works in the vicinity of the stadium.
The Official Blades travel coaches have now sold out. Coaches will depart Bramall Lane at 6am promptly for Sunday's 1.15pm kick-off.
If anybody sees what looks to be a really annoying lad dressesd up in a Hawiian outfit with a blow up dolphin wearing a United shirt it will be me. HaHa
Sorry if it annoys anybody
We're thinking of driving down to Croydon, parking up there (lots of car parks in Croydon apparently!) and then probably walking the mile or two to Selhurst Park. Does anyone with a less scant knowledge of the topography of Greater London think that this is a foolish idea? My knowledge of London is pretty much limited to Tower Bridge and Holborn (the only two places where I have clients there...)
Is it the William Stanley pub most people will be in?
No we're bloody not.Beer and full english! we setting off at 3am???![]()
Not been to Selhurst before - everyone says that parking is a problem. Are there no parking areas around the ground or is it just congested? We're going by motorbike so assuming we'll be able to find a little corner to tuck into close to the ground.

Previous times I have street parked near the ground but occording to website there are alot of road works around the ground. It was congested last time i went.
The roadworks I believe are on the Croydon side and on the main road that goes from Croydon to Thorton Heath and even the backroads have become a mare. I go with my 73 year old dad and walking any distance is an issue for him which is why I drive though on Sunday I am thinking of going on the train looking at the roadworks, will have to make a stop between the ground and station. If you dont know the backroads I think that a train from East Croydon is your best bet its only bout 7 minutes
Any idea if we'll be able to successfully navigate to and park up around Penge Road?
Thanks for the local knowledge!![]()
