“I ain’t got no problem now. I know exactly what players I need to pick and what players are not playing for a reason.”

RND looked like he wanted it, did well 1st half, rapid, went forward, strong in the challenge. After the OG, he went to pot. For him, I suspect it's a mentality thing. He looked to have lost the required focus after the OG.

He was doing alright til the OG. Lost his head a bit after that.

I don't think Wilder wanted to have the extra games a cup run involves.

And the half hearted approach of the players reflected that attitude.

Their and his main concern seemed to be to avoid injuries and red/yellow cards.

The more I think about it the more I think the performance reflected the managers attitude to the cup.

He’s like a bird ranting on Facebook about there being snakes everywhere and be careful who you trust, days after posting a pic of their fella with “my world 🌍” as the caption

Sam Allardyce and Tony Pulis have probably already messaged him saying “DM me hun”

Just read Danny Halls first book covering the League 1 promotion and 1 st Championship season and feel really sad that the guy who gave us all that excitement is tarnishing that memory.

His interview on Sunday was petulant and frankly last night's interview was a dead man walking.

He has done great things for this club and I am a massive Wilder fan, but he needs to go.

The danger is with our latest in a long line of boardroom idiots is who do they bring in? Will they back them and will there be a plan?

I must admit I gave up watching when we went 1 down. I can accept a lower league team starting a game full of energy and dominating a bit, especially when they’re at home, but the lack of basic ability and movement from us at the start of the 2nd half until their goal was embarrassing.
And then after he whined about BBD having played too much football, he then brings him on as a substitute in a Carabao cup game. Surely he could have ‘rested’ him against the mighty Fleetwood.
Watched the lad Koumas absolutely give it 100%, chasing and harassing the Spurs defence into mistakes the night before and thought have we no one like this. We amble around, zero energy, zero technique and zero tactics.
Embarrassing

I really don't understand how players can possibly have a sense of entitlement in games like this. Clubs get humiliated in cup ties every year. Every single fucking year. Man United lost to Grimsby not too long ago, for fucks sake. It's not like it's unprecedented, it's a pattern, and you should know that you need to be at the top of your game if you don't want to be one of the clubs that gets their trousers pulled down.

Just heard the carrick interview.."I take all the criticism..i understand the fans frustration "...people might have more respect for wilder if he showed this kind of humility..but its not something he does.
This is it,last week it was the fans making the shirt heavy, today the players were too arrogant, that's some 360,last week he trusted the players 100 pc, today some of them can't be trusted, another 360.
Does he think nobody takes notice of all his contradictory statements?

Exactly what I said on the return home!

Talked about arrogance… who’s the biggest example!!

Well if he has a number of tactics, and plans of style of play to implement if one isn't working, and the players are ignoring everything in every single game bar Wolves 1st half this season then he has every right to have a pop.

OR

If he keeps picking 3 or 4 players who are blowing out of their arses after 10 minutes
Keeps chopping and changing centre halves and centre midfielders without addressing the route cause of why getting over run
Has no matter which full backs are playing zero ability to stop teams putting crosses into the box (literally 9 out of 10 attempts get in)
Keeps picking the slowest 11 available ruling out any counter attacks

The 'bladey blade' in me says the 1st one is the reason, the 'almost sane voice points to the 2nd... #timetogo

I think one of CW's biggest problems is that's he's a fan. If he had been in the stand last night he would have been effing this and effing that like a good portion of the fans.
A lot of the anger is irrational but at the same time understandable because it's so frustrating to watch rubbish week in week out - especially having seen a much improved performance with the change of formation at the weekend - then reverting to last night's

Their and his main concern seemed to be to avoid injuries and red/yellow cards.
Or alternatively a place in a major cup quarter final

That'd be more believable if performances in the league hadn't been such dogshit too.

How many times has he said "I/we have got to own it" - and then does the exact opposite? I counted 3 in that interview alone.
Blame the players all you want Chris, but who signs them, picks the team and determines the tactics?
Last night we were outrun and outplayed by a middling L2 side. Our best outfield player - yet again - was a 19 yo who's not even ours.
The summer has been a disaster - Brooks, Hamer & O'Hare gone, and ageing, unfit players with zero resale value brought in.
I thought there were signs in the Wolves game that we were starting to get things together - firmly back to square one after last night.
