One of my only two visits to Craven Cottage.

Took a break from revising for my A Levels.

Never seen the footage before, as we got back late from London (didn't have Match of the Day 2, nor highlights in those days).

Off to the Lyceum Theatre on Thursday to watch / listen to a Beatles tribute band.

Won 3-1. Bill Punton scored twice and Mick Jones got the other. We also wore all white kit in the replay (I have seen the photos). Fulham probably wore all red (couldnt tell from the black and white photos. LSF said Fulham wore all red in the 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage so they probably wore the same kit for the replay

Was at Fulham on Boxing Day once , early kickoff lost 2-1 , half cut going fully sauced coming back .

Good player was Jimmy Armfield, but I still maintain that Cohen offered a bit more. Point taken about Wilson, Silent, even the best make mistakes. I've seen Bobby Moore, at his peak, play a poor pass, but he'd be the first to acknowledge it and make sure that he didn't repeat the same mistake again. Ramsey's selection throughout the world cup was not always met with universal agreement. At the time I recall certain red top newspapers wondering why Hunt got the nod over Greaves?

Hurst replaced Greaves after he was injured. Greaves played in the first three games, Hurst only came in for the quarter final. Roger Hunt played in every game.

That replay was postponed twice due to heavy rain in the afternoon.
Fulham were pig sick as they were in Sheffield for the match and the heavens opened ( 2 occasions) finally played the game ( 3attempt) we won 3 - 1 Fulham were really sick about the postponements but each time it really did piss it down.
