Same point (roughly) of the season in Danny Wilson's last year, 2013: We'd just drawn away to lowly Notts County. We'd failed to go up to 3rd, remaining 5th, having previously been beaten at home by Yeovil.

I suppose though then we did have the solace of Harry Maguire, Kev McDonald & Jamie Murphy playing for us. Oh, & Nick Blackman..., for a few more days at least.

It's not all bad now. But, without January reinforcements, we'll be lucky to do as well as we did in 2012/13. For Yeovil read Burton.

Very hard fought point I thought, on a heavy pitch.
Only 2 real chances all game, both to us.
We restricted a side who scored 5 last time out at Bloomfield rd to next to nothing.

Doomsday scenario, not quite as we're only 1 point off the playoffs - long way to go agreed.....but.

On closer examination of the league, Millwall in 6th, 1 point ahead, play Crewe at home on Saturday - probably but not definitely a home win, takes them to 46 pts (4 Pts ahead), also they have a game in hand, should they win that (possible but not definite) then it's 7 pts ahead.

All possibles and maybes but the writing is beginning to become visible on the wall.

In the real world it's all about finishing at least 6th, scraping into the final at Wenbley, then scraping a win in the final.

It's funny how even if we win promotion this season some will say we were lucky and already predicting our doom for next season. These types of fans are seriously making it more difficult to progress.

yes as none of the top 6 will lose any games from february onwards , we are doomed

I think it started when we were winding up the pigs and saying their predicament under Strafford etc was their fault and they deserved it. It appears that if you repeat something for long enough it becomes fact.

I probably shouldn't point out then that if the teams around us win their games in hand, we will be 9th and 4 points off the playoffs having one only 1 of our last 6 games in all competitions.
