Bert is thinking of slitting his wrists.
Car park legend, he doesn't actually go to games. Its the new culture of the club Bert. Led by terrace legends such as Brian the Blade.
It's a cryimg shame we are where we are, depressing really. But it is what it is. Expectation alone doesn't change diddly squat unfortunately. It's becoming so apparent just how many of our fans have taken on such a basement level of expectation.
There are at least 41 other sets of fans who would like to be where we are. Out of all the football teams who plough their furrow up and down this green and pleasant one every weekend, there are only 50 better than us.

Couldn't care less if some teams are 50 points in front of us. Doesn't matter that we might be poor and don't deserve promotion.
In the real world it's all about finishing at least 6th, scraping into the final at Wenbley, then scraping a win in the final.
It's funny how even if we win promotion this season some will say we were lucky and already predicting our doom for next season. These types of fans are seriously making it more difficult to progress.
Have you noticed how some clubs have a DNA of being lucky, it's because their fans expect to win playoffs, expect to score late winners and win penalty shoot outs.
Some of our fans throw in the towel when ever we face a challenge.
Been a while since someone has blamed the fans for our predicament.
yes as none of the top 6 will lose any games from february onwards , we are doomedDoomsday scenario, not quite as we're only 1 point off the playoffs - long way to go agreed.....but.
On closer examination of the league, Millwall in 6th, 1 point ahead, play Crewe at home on Saturday - probably but not definitely a home win, takes them to 46 pts (4 Pts ahead), also they have a game in hand, should they win that (possible but not definite) then it's 7 pts ahead.
All possibles and maybes but the writing is beginning to become visible on the wall.
But it's arguably part of the problem with the club as a whole at the moment.
You can't deny that IF we made it to the PO final, the majority of our fans will go there expecting to lose.
I think it started when we were winding up the pigs and saying their predicament under Strafford etc was their fault and they deserved it. It appears that if you repeat something for long enough it becomes fact. It's only argued by people making excuses for the decision makers at our club who are the ones really at fault.
It's utterly ridiculous to place any of the blame on the fans.
Of course we'd be expecting the worse, it's human nature, but we'd turn up and offer unrivalled support.
Like the support we offered against Swindon at home in the play offs, where we still lost.
