I'm booked in with my lad, and one of my mates and his lad as well. Not quite the usual for a Manchester away day as we are taking the kids to the football museum before the match.

Not so long back this would have been nailed on for me...now.....I will probably wait...and wait......and wait.............then decide not to go. Same as the Boxing Day fixture..... Last year everyone in our household went..... this season......not one of us is going.........Its a sad day when the prospect of sitting in the local pub watching the scores come in is more appealing than an away-day on the lash.
Don't wait too long mate, I've heard they've all got 'bt sport'Ticket sorted just waiting waiting to arrange train tickets with other West and North Yorkshire Blades.
Me and my mate from York have both match tickets and train tickets booked complete with seat reservations on the train. I'll have to get a job as Blades away day organiser to fill my time when I retireTicket sorted just waiting waiting to arrange train tickets with other West and North Yorkshire Blades.
Go south round m60 on your way to Wigan and you'll see old Trafford if you squintClosest I'm getting to Old Trafford is Wigan
No serious risk of us selling 8k is there? My sons mates are all bang up for it, lots of people I know have been put off by the £.
It's a generational thing, I guess.

Wouldn't you be better staying in Manchester?![]()
It's not optimism - it's just a "can't lose" game. Go and enjoy it, with some added lubrication.Where has all this optimism sprung from?? enjoy the day out lads, for me its not financial but just can't bring myself to go I won't watch the telly box either I will instead get as far away from a 4g signal as possible, all the family are going and the pressure to go is mounting (ticket bought should I change my mind) but I intend to stand firm, atb Daz
High prices, but how can you not go, we are really looking forward to the day, even better news is that we have also booked the Crowne Plaza in Colchester for the 15th to see the Blades in Colchester on the 16th ,600 miles round trip. plus we have Wigan, Bradford City and Peterborough, what a fab time to be a Blade fanSo, after the initial disgust at the pricing, who's off to support the mighty Blades?
I'm in.

Prices disgusting, but train day out, all day supping and no doubt end up in ex-Serviceman's club at Trafford Bar for a cheap pint or several along the way... can't wait![]()
