"all eyes on this game this weekend(as its on telly and 2 biggest teams in league..mwah)"

Is that akin to a Hibs fans saying similar before they are about to play Rangers in the SCL!

Agree, not sure that they qualify as a "big team"?

Be going in hope as always but I have to admit it would be a shock result if we get a win out of this one.

Would take a draw now it offered and I suspect so would Adkins.

yes only 34 years in the top flight since the 60's and 1 miserly FA Cup win in the 80's - small time compared to us

We might as well be, Harry's game. As far as league games go, this is as big as it gets for us. We are a third division team. They are a third division team. More to the point, they are a top third division side, we are a mid table third division side closer to relegation than promotion places. Your FFS implies we are too big to treat them with such respect, but the truth is they demand our respect, we can't demand any from them.

have to agree its put smile on my face seeing other fans that were above us better team and manager now in awe at us and what we have done"

:D:D Talk about getting ahead of yerself!

We were also the first team English team to beat Bayern Munich and the first English team to beat them on English soil!

We should have played in Europe in 87 too but English sides were banned because of what happened at Heysel. :(

No we're playing a team that have consistently been much better than us throughout the season and we have terrible home form.

We might as well not turn up tomorrow then.

Why people are so keen to get tickets to Old Trafford if they have already accepted defeat to another Third Division side boggles the mind.

There's respecting the oposition which I always do..

...then there is accepting defeat before we kick off at home against a team In the same division as us.

My FFS is aimed at those who who are already writing is off tomorrow and the Trainee Swan, Lane and Kay's so happy to bet on their own team to loose.

I'd have took that over being walloped in the 2nd division and relegated to the 3rd division that year. :)

Shame you didn't get it then.

So, are we gonna get annihilated & taught a footballing lesson by your lot tomorrow, then?

Not too sure. You haven't won in the league since October apparently. I can't remember the last time we lost. The bookies still fancy you to win though for some reason.

The exact same reason why Sheffield United's crowds won't drop massively after 3 bad months.

Lol. We've had 6 bad years & our crowds haven't dropped massively, they've held up!

Didn't you get about 40,000 on your return to the city. A bit strange they've not all got on board this season?

6 bad years? Are you joking? 8th in the Championship, 23rd in the Championship (fair enough) and 3rd, 5th, 7th and 5th in League One? Have I missed the other 5?

Our last 6 years we have finished 19th, 18th, 23rd - Championship and 15th, 18th and 17th in League One.

Blimey, if those last 6 years are bad, I reckon you would have topped yourself by now if you had our last 6 years.

No Way - they got a full house - 30k in the Tesco stadium - for an FA Cup tie vs Chelsea
I think it's only been close to being full one time more than that.

To be fair - I used to like Highfield Road as a ground - proper football stadium and good atmosphere - there was never going to be a time that they would out grow it, though.
Taking the club out of the City has severely damaged its heritage, identity and catchment IMO.

Cov will batter us tomorrow lunchtime - they have pace and athleticism and we have Collins and McEveley - we're fucked

I think they are expecting defeat, not "accepting" it. That can hardly come as some surprise, can it?
