I think your view is the healthy one BB. Naturally I'll support Adkins, but he's got that boy scout enthusiasm you'd expect, and what matters is whether he can get the existing players to respond to his demands, plus whoever he brings in will have to make a positive difference. Personally I'm dreading a potential signing of Billy Sharp. Not because I have anything against the guy, but because I feel any existing sentiment clouds the judgement of whether he's capable enough to give us that threat we're sorely in need of. If Adkins does manage to sign Billy then I hope he does well, but I fear that moment has come and gone and that it's time to sign someone more able and who's going to be here for the long-term.
