Eoin Doyle

Transfer spoiler on twitter suggests that of the list of potential targets only Doyle and Bradshaw remain available to us now. Players are keen, but talks haven't advanced to them directly. Talks between clubs have become slow and it seems less likely that either will sign.
The Blades way!! Usual shit....

So Clough says just the one striker to hopefully come in

Doesn't think he needs more and there's always the loan window

So...............................who will it be?

Another goal today !! do we think we should splash out 2 million ? I think he could be the push to automatic promotion

Davies or Doyle . Deal might all stem around higdon going to Chesi.

Billy scored a last-minute winner for Leeds today

Higdon is going to be a millstone around both the club and NC's neck. He was bought in haste and we will repent in leisure if he stays and prevents other strikers coming in, could cost us dearly

Why would Higdon staying at the Lane prevent other strikers coming into the club ?

Is it a case we just watched the DVD when buying him. Higdon wont stop the club signing other strikers , but could be used as a part of a transfer deal .

He just does not suit our style of play . Put him into a team like Rochdale , Barnsley , and i think he would score goals.

We have all got to remember , you do not get a up and coming Marc Van Basten for £100K at HIgdons age . We have got what we paid for , simple as that.

If he stays , and that is up to Mr Clough , Higdon can only get better . He has been disappointing up to press but does he always get the right service . We do seem to have the attacking options , its just getting the final piece of the jigsaw for this season and beyond.

If he does stay , we have all got to give the bloke a chance .

He reminds me of a poor Quality version of Neil Shipperley. Everyone slated Ships when he first came but he did a job for us.

Well... apart from him go to another club at some point in the future.

I was shocked at how lean he looked at Preston and hoped he might have turned the corner, didn't do much wrong and against Spurs he didn't have much time to show or have that much to do to be judged.

He is however still our weak link.

The bloke has lost some timber . Helps being sponsored by Weght Watchers .:D

The weakest link bit will be sorted in the JTW . If Higdon stays he can still do a job for us .Its Mr Clough he has to please not us.
