When was the last time that two players in the league above engineered moves to the Blades?

People can bang on about rumoured player spats and heavy handed man-management, but the desire of COG and Brayford to get back to BDTBL tells me everything I need to know about how Clough works.

Exactly, and just look at the quotes today from Baxter (re Diego and Clough) which adds weight to that theory.

someone on BM just posted a text he has had from a friend at Brighton saying he's definitely staying there, time will tell

A new chapter as far as COG and Brighton are concerned Bergen. COG would be good for us, but I think he may have found a manager in Hughton who appreciates what he can do.

He's married, IIYB. Do you really think he gets the final say on all this? If, as I have heard, his wife and children are not settled down there and are wanting to be back up north, who do you think he'll listen to most, Hughton or the missus?

And there, in a nutshell, SEB, is the story of your life ;)

You may well have a point, I hope you're correct mate. With last week's additions we're looking strong, apart from our offensive department. COG would definitely add to this, plus he's got the nous we currently lack. Hope it happens and that the wife presses her thumb down hard.

Does that mean we'll be chanting "There's only one Mrs O'Grady, one Mrs O'Grady, one Mrs O'Grady" if we land him?

His "replacement" Leon Best was cup tied. Hughton seems a fan of O'Grady though.
So now they are out of the cup and need to concentrate on the league then Best can play in that position.

Did BHA sign Ameobi or not?
Was this a real rumour?

It's going to be difficult for Hughton to let COG go if he is selecting him as their key striker

Ameobi wanted by West Brom and Palace. But not signed for anyone as yet.

It was a big day Brighton yesterday against Arsenal.
Today they are back to reality out of the cup and in a relegation battle.

He didn't seem that pleased to have scored.
Should we read something into that?
I think this was due to the goal propably just seen as a consolation due to them playing Arsenal mate,if it was an equaliser or a winner then i think we'd have seen a different celebration.

It was 2-1 mate, game on surely!

Yes mate, that's just it,game on.Someone get the ball from the back of the net and lets get this game restarted, which is what happened. You don't want him to go running off, with his arms aloft or sliding on his knees wasting precious seconds.Well, this is how i saw it anyway,i could be wrong and he might not be happy down there.

See what you're saying now/

All academic now as it does seem to be all off.
Hughton would get slaughtered by the fans if he lets him go now after playing so well in the last 2 games.

don't shoot the messenger, but just been told that a certain someone who scored yesterday, is at the Lane now

I trust the person who has told me is all I can say

Fingers crossed

Brighton must surely have someone else signed up already? Maybe they are getting ALF on loan?

Hi Brighton fan here good to see you doing well in the cup and good luck against spurs this week, COG is now getting a lot of love here now he's been given the chance to shine under Houghton as sammi didn't give him a seconds thought . We all would love him to stay now we know what he's capable of and if you look at this you can see why http://www.theargus.co.uk/sport/albion/11748513.Hughton_hoping_O_Grady_will_stay_with_Albion/ Good luck the rest of the season hope to see you back in the champ soon.

Still the rumours persist he's signing

"COG signing this week, and an attacking mid/striker from wigan on loan. Same source as Beard, i'd be happy with that."
