I'd love to see him in charge of dore .
What strimming the verges whilst we wait for some investment?

My take, nice guy but let's stop looking backwards. We have got to put together a long term strategy with some succession planning.

I said it before we had 2 coaches who are now flying at Brentford our ex academy boss and coach are at old Trafford and meanwhile we have flip flopped between Wilder and Hecky.

As someone suggested maybe Phil Jones is the guy. Should have great contacts and links across the game as well as worked with the world class coaches and managers.

He just did really well before he stepped up and I think it's something that would suit him.

I don't understand your point. Before he was made first team manager he was working in the academy (U21 coach?). What role do you think he could do at Dore which is to become the first team training centre.

He understands football and the business of football and is an ideal candidate as a director of football
Not sure if he has what it takes to be a manager, coaching is possibly beneath him
But suits business management of a football club

Coaching Licences
    • UEFA Pro Licence: The highest available coaching qualification in football, allowing him to manage in the Premier League and UEFA club competitions. [1]

Academic Qualifications
    • MSc in Sport Coaching (Distinction): Completed at Leeds Beckett University in 2016.
    • BSc (Hons) in Sports Coaching (First Class): Completed at Leeds Beckett University in 2013.
    • Professional Doctorate Studies: Enrolled in a professional doctorate in sport practice at Leeds Beckett University starting in 2019.

Why? What's he done to warrant that?

He spent £3.5m on Harry Clarke FFS.
But he also bought Slimane who we sold for profit, who had better goal contribution to game ratio than Sydie Peck last season.

He also signed Traore who we sold for profit, who had a better goal contribution ration than Andre Brooks last season, albeit in the Swiss league, but for a top Swiss team on par with Championship football. He's now playing in the MLS.

He signed Trusty who we sold for profit, who has established himself at Celtic and in the US national team.

He also sighed Anel who was better than Tanganga and McGuinness. He also signed Souza who was better than Rothwell and Riedewald.

Hecky sighed some good players who weren’t ready for the Premier League but probably would have done a job for us in the Championship.

This is why there's a good argument for him being a DoF, not to mention his knowledge and connections at academy level which could help find the next Ndiaye, Osula or One.

Our next manager (whenever that happens) needs to be new but not in a Selles kind of way. My choice would be Farke if Leeds become ungrateful to him.
