With O’Hare seemingly on his way out, I was speaking to a mate of mine who is a big Leeds fan and he reckons Jamie Shackleton is capable of playing in the number 10 role. Now Shackleton is back fit and starting to look somewhere near his best, would it be worth giving him a go there rather than immediately looking for another replacement?
He has the energy, presses well, can carry the ball and is comfortable playing in different midfield positions. Obviously it is a different role to what we have mainly seen him play for us, but perhaps there is more to his game than we have been able to see so far.
Could Shackleton be a genuine option at number 10 if O’Hare leaves?
