It's funny looking back at some of these melt comments in this thread. Onwards and upwards KP.

A good performance in the Carabao Cup does nothing to answer those doubters.
It also helps if you're in the AA!
Passing fast, along the floor and through the midfield instead of floating it to opposing CBs.Accurate passing and no endlessly coughing up possession
Like Tom Davies, his talent isn’t in question at this level. His fitness is. He looked a strong unit though and coming deep to collect the ball, moving the ball quicker was what we needed when Blackburn were on topReally good in and out of possession.
I think it does, because some comments weren’t just about his ability to get / keep fit but in what he brings to the team.Everyone knows Phillips has it within him to raise the ceiling. It's whether or not he can withstand a gruelling Championship season that's yet to be determined. A good performance in the Carabao Cup does nothing to answer those doubters.
Good looking twat aswell
Don’t talk to me about the fucking AA , fucking useless , broke done in Manchester last week “we will recover you at 1220 “ 1420 still stood there waiting, useless, they are too big for there staff and service to handle . Also once put a rear wheel on my vehicle and didn’t tighten it up correctly it worked lose , get another vehicle recovery service is my advice!!!It also helps if you're in the AA!
And before anybody says it I don't mean Alcoholic Anonymous.
Although being a Blade , Alcoholics Unanimous might be better. If ever you don't fancy a drink call them up and someone will talk you into having one.
I don’t think his injury record is as bad as what we all think. He’s had an injury every year, like most players but prior to him signing for City he never really struggled with injuries.Like Tom Davies, his talent isn’t in question at this level. His fitness is. He was really impressive though and if we can get him involved in 50-75% of games we’ll do alright
Not keen on the top knot, looks a bit twattish!Good looking twat aswell
I guess he’s not played consistently at all and when he has it’s for short, often disastrous spells as he’s either not been fit to get up to pace with games or he’s got himself sent off…I don’t think his injury record is as bad as what we all think. Like you said, regaining fitness is the biggest challenge. Especially without a proper preseason, it’s good we’re still in all cups. That gives him a chance of more minutes to build from.
